Great Bites — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

In town visiting family and decided to check this place out for various reasons. We saw Great Bites had a 5 star Google review on over 100 reviews, sports a healthy and clean menu, and is shockingly cheap for Orange County, all things considered. Totally exceeded our expectations!

The staff was awesome and really helpful explaining the menu, and then one of the owners made the effort to come check on us and ask us about our visit into town. He and his partner have grit in the game.

The food was quickly brought out and super yummy. I had the salmon signature entree, though a little dry, the flavor was excellent. We also got one of the burgers and the chicken signature entree, both were really great.

They also have solid deals every day of the week, which is a great marketing tool. We went Friday, which was 2$ off on signature entrees.

I can’t tell you how happy I am with the overall service and food experience here!! Their slogan, “deliciously natural,” is accurate and genuine! I follow a particularly intense diet (GAPS AND AIP) and as I was explaining to the cashier, the head chef happened to overhear our conversation and came over to help put my order in- and then continued to specially make it for me!!!! I ordered a fantastic grass fed burger with seas salt (holding any additional seasonings) with avocado and grilled onions and they used organic olive oil per my request. The team was more than happy to accommodate my needs. They were gracious and kind. They didn’t make me feel like my order was a burden.

I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a healthy and natural lunch/dinner! Thank you, GREAT BITES, for having this mission to serve great tasting and natural foods and for being so kind...

Excellent pot roast sandwich. I'm glad they ran out of ground beef.

I think they were short handed because the girl at the register was good, but she spent too much time taking phone orders, which kinda matters if you want to see a movie.

The place has a large screen TV for sports but it's too loud (even outside) especially since the sound echoes inside.

Not great for my friend who has a 4 month old baby and she's cranky (the mom) due to lack of sleep and the fact that the baby didn't react well to the noise.

We kinda were hoping to eat and leave quickly, which is why the long wait to order didn't sit well with the cranky new mom who was enduring the sound and trying to keep her formerly calm baby, calm.
