Zubie's Dry Dock — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Well i wasn’t sure about leaving such a negative review, however i feel it is necessary. Went lsst night to celebrate my son in laws birthday.. it was pre covid since my last visit and wow have things changed!! I ordered ribeye steak medium well and we got crab legs for the table… sighhh While waiting for our food we waited in line to grab cocktails at the bar. There were two bartenders, while in the midst of taking our order one of the bartenders scolded the other one.. very UNPROFESSIONAL and uncomfortable!!! Anyway, while still waiting for our order we were approached by a gentleman that was obvi intoxicated..he noticed my daughter and her husband were wearing Dodger gear and tried to go on a rant about money and sports, i didn’t pay too much attention but my daughter let him know that he was out of line and he then walked away… throwing his hands up in defeat. Finally, our food was ready.. mine and my son in laws steaks were overcooked and hard to eat. I was hopeful that the crab would be delicious but it also was overcooked. What happened to this place!!?? I wont be going back nor will i ever recommend this place again. How are standards lowered across the board, like...

Drove all the way to Zubie’s based on advertising hours, only to find out the restaurant closed an hour earlier! An entire hour! The rude and unempathetic bartender nonchalantly said, “oh, we close early when it’s slow.” It’s obviously slow a lot because the place looks dead outside. I wouldn’t be suprised if this local “staple” closed within the year. We used to come here all the time and the place was packed. We stopped coming because my ahi dinner was incredibly fishy on more than one occasion, not fresh and the “side salad” was browning. My wife won’t even come here, the only reason I came tonight is because she is out of town. Let me tell you, she was right and this is the last time.

This is a sham of a seafood place and it’s really not clean and pretty gross. If you aren’t sure about seafood, DO NOT come here or you’ll probably never eat it again. I’m so disappointed that this restaurant has tanked. Terrible, lackluster, LAZY service and people who don’t give a crap about their jobs or how they represent a place. Take your business to Market Broiler, Hook & Anchor, or even Yardhouse. All much better and...

Been a long time customer of zubies. Love their food they never dissapoint. BUT today i took my wife and her parents and my uncle and my service dog...we sat by the arcade away from everyone. At least 15 tables away from anyone. We all sat down my dog as usual went under the table and layed down. We were there for about 10 min.. when the bartender started walking around our table trying to look for my dog...she immediately became agrresive and told me she cant have dogs in the restaurant. I said i understand but he is my service dog...she said he doesnt have his vest on so he needs to go...i said hes from alaska and its too hot for that( hes a husky malamutte)..as i was pulling out my wallet to get my card for him...she went on a rant about how people get scared of dogs i looked around and said there is no one around us and my dog is sleeping...i handed her my documents, then she threw it back at me saying i printed it off the internet...i shook my head and she yelled what im just doing my job....Nope... your job is to make drinks get the f outta here(i didnt say that part just...
