Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Huntington Park

After completing the survey on the back of the receipt I wrote the survey code on the box that’s provided on the back of the receipt 🧾 went inside to redeem it the cashier refused to accept the receipt and asked me to give her my cellphone 📱 so that she could see the code , I explained to the cashier that the fine print on the receipt does not ask to see the code in the cellphone as long as the code is written in the box in the receipt it should be acceptable she refused and said that she’ll ask the manager she went to the back and came back a minute later and said that the manager told her not to accept the survey code unless I show her my cellphone I explained that I had done the survey and closed the web page and there’s no way I could show her anyway. Needless to say cashier refused to grant what was promised on the back of the receipt. I called corporate and told them what happened they advised me that they will investigate what happened and apologized. I don’t recommend this particular Carl’s Jr. To anyone bad customer service and this was my first and last time to visit this...

Every time I give Carl's Jr a shot I come away feeling dirty. If I order a combo I have to figure out what size drink and fries when all I wanted was the advertised meal at the advertised price. This time they have a banner on the side of the building with 3 breakfast burritos, buy one and get a 2nd for one dollar, but they state that they only honor the smallest burrito, bacon egg and cheese, I ordered it anyway and they were soo skinny for $8. I walked out and took a 2nd look at the banner and it didn't mention any exclusions and in fact mentioned the other 2 types of burritos by name. I'm going to be looking up whatever regulatory agency enforces prices and promotions to make sure it doesn't happen to other people. I ordered Steakhouse angus thickburger (comes with bacon) with added guacamole, she notified me there’s extra charge for guac, I said that’s fine. My burger had neither bacon nor guacamole. Funny, how she didn’t forget to charge me extra for it, yet she forgot to put it in my burger. Don’t go here, folks! Not the brightest of staff.

And if you happen to get stuck in a situation where this is the last Carl’s Jr. in the world & you happen to be passing by, definitely check your items as soon as you receive them! Wish I’ve done that...
