Hubby & I took a sunny Sunday afternoon convertible ride & headed toward a WV restaurant that had been featured in an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Unfortunately, so did lots of other folks. It was so busy, we just drove on past & headed into Huntington, near Marshall University, where we found this gem! The restaurant was very clean. We were promptly seated & our drink order taken. Chips, salsa & a Mayo/sour cream dip were whisked to our table. The menu was excellent…traditional items, but also some choices that were a little different. Both of our entrees were DELICIOUS! His - a chicken dish with chipotle crema sauce & mine a chicken/chorizo dish (that I ordered without the pineapple that came with it!) our server was friendly and the manager, Antonio, came to check on us & we learned the owner of this place was opening a restaurant much closer to where we live. If we are in the Huntington area, I will absolutely return to this restaurant. It was excellent! The only possible concern I saw (but didn’t experience due to the time we were there) was that the parking lot seemed tight. That might be a problem if the restaurant was super busy.
