They have lovely flavors for nearly all of their products, however you will pay a premium for those great tastes. They claim to obtain their ingredients from healthier sources, but again, that's reflected in their prices, and hard to prove. That said, you can get interesting choices for both your drinks and meals, just check that total before you agree to swipe your credit card, because it may give you sticker shock! Also, it is VERY IMPORTANT to note that they will advertise one special in a poster on their window ($5.99 Duets- picturing a bowl of Tomato Soup and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich), and THEN show a picture INSIDE on their actual Menu Board, and call it a Pick 2, also with a soup and sandwich picture. BEWARE: These are NOT the same specials! There are only 4 combinations that apply to the $5.99 Duets. The Pick 2s have a much broader range, however they are ALL simply chosen as ala carte options, with a small discount per item, because you are "Picking 2". Therefore, you may save $1(or similar) off each of your 2 choices, but those 2 choices already had spendy price tags beforehand, thus you could easily be "Picking 2" items with a combined total of $15 (or more), minus some discount of maybe $2-3 dollars, equaling a net cost of easily $12-$13. Then, it's going to run you an additional $3-$4 for any drink there. Add tax, and you're looking at around $18-$20 for that so called "healthier" lunch, PER PERSON! Well, if you have deep pockets, then jump on it Houston! For your average Jane or John Doe, this is a rather stiff amount to spring for trying to get supposedly "better" food. Just remember, nowadays nearly every fast food restaurant has salads with chicken and fruit options or you can always opt to order a GRILLED chicken sandwich with a side salad instead of fries. Just choose a beverage that's not loaded with sugar (Panera's own beverages are heavily loaded with sugar), and you've nailed it, with a far less substantial hit to the wallet. Sure, you can't know where or how any ingredients are sourced, and the dining areas aren't as pretty, but you've been able to eat healthy and haven't broken the bank. Honestly, Panera is a nice place to eat, but I cannot give them 5 stars due to their prices, their very misleading marketing, nor their insane levels of sugars in their own dispenser drinks. How healthy can that salad or grilled sandwich be, if you're washing it down with a WHOPPING 100 GRAMS of sugar, from only ONE FILL of their "Charged Lemonades"? And FORGET getting a refill! That'll give you a sugar rush that'll make your...
Read moreThe Governors W location at Bridge Street Town Centre Mall continues to have horrific and dismal customer service. They are EXPERTS at CONSISTENTLY PRODUCING INCORRECT ORDERS. Whether you are ordering from your table with colleagues, at the workplace or from your residence. They couldn't get an ORDER CORRECT IF THEIR LIVES DEPENDED on it.
I didn't receive the double chicken for the extra $1.99 nor any extra frizzled onions. I was given a leaking chipotle mayo container which I didn't ask for hence my receipt. I'M ALLERGIC TO MAYO. I asked for the Apple Cider BBQ Sauce but alas I didn't receive. I have broken out in hives while posting this review. I inadvertently touched a leaking chipotle mayo container I never ordered.
The Governors W location currently has a voicemail message asking customers not to call during 11AM - 1PM and 6PM -7PM this busy time period. Yet oddly enough, they had that SAME MESSAGE on from 1:46 PM to 2:35 PM when I tried to call several times to speak to a supervisor or manager.
Once I received a "manager", I spoke to a woman who was evasive. I politely asked her for her name. She never introduced herself. Most individuals in leadership positions automatically give their first or surname without being asked. It is part of normal business protocol. I literally had to ask for her name 4 times. I recorded the conversation and forwarded it to your corporate office. This woman who finally gave me the surname of "Ortega" should be running for political office. She deflected, distorted and distracted to avoid answering my questions. I told her thank you but I will contact corporate. She doesn't need to answer your phones. She lacks tact and basic customer service phone skills. She became abrasive and defensive when I asked to speak to another manager. When I mentioned the voicemail message not aligning with the said times, she didn't apologize. She began to make spurious inferences that had nothing to do with my questions. I told her good day and called corporate.
BUYER BEWARE: Receiving incorrect or someone's orders during the pandemic isn't an ISOLATED INCIDENT. I have received SEVERAL inaccurate orders. *IF YOU ORDER ANYTHING EXTRA ON YOUR SANDWICH MARK MY WORDS, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT...ESPECIALLY if it is HOME DELIVERY. THEY TAKE US FOR GRANTED. This location loves giving you incorrect drink orders and pastries that are not the ones ordered.
I will NEVER ENTER OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM A PANERA BREAD restaurant EVER AGAIN. See the video and two...
Read moreI am a loyal customer I have been coming every Wednesday morning for the past 2 months. However, I will not be giving by business to this location anymore id rather go to another location even though my job is literally across the street. I did a pick up order this morning ordered a garden avocado sandwich and vanilla latte the app said it would be ready by 7:10, why did I receive an email saying it was ready by 7:20 and my sandwich was sitting behind the counter where I could not see it and had to mention it (they do this frequently why not place it on the pick up rack). I mentioned I was waiting on a latte and a staff member said another lady would be making it. This staff member then told someone else to make it I seen him go to the back and asked what the hold up is. The cashier said “Oh the machine is down and needs to be restarted, no one told you”. Communication is key I asked for a coffee instead and nothing was brewed but decaf she mentioned they were brewing at the time and gave me a bakery treat. However, I did not leave until 7:50 and of course my sandwich was cold I ended up throwing it away and this experienced ruined my day and made me 20 mins late to work when it’s 2 mins away. No the first time I’ve waited 30 plus minutes for a...
