Pros: $10 off $30 deal with their mailing list Good portions Awesome drinks Complementary bread & oil Good happy hour Very wheelchair accessible (read bottom for more) Great lunch menu & prices Cons: Seems to be understaffed & service lacking Insane dinner prices for food with mid quality All fried food unsafe for shellfish allergies Happy hour only available if you dine at the bar Don't get the Calamari We've been here multiple times and I highly recommend coming on weeknights for the happy hour cocktails and happy hour appetizers of the ravioli, burger and flatbreads they are very flavorful and at $7 for happy hour they're reasonably priced as well. They also have fabulous lunch deals. All of their cocktails are amazing and if you're up for dining at the bar you'll enjoy lovely happy hour specials. However, after dining outside of happy hour/lunch for the first time we were really let down (2023) I'm not sure if they are short staffed right now or what, but something was off on our most recent visit. We were disappointed by the service, price and the calamari. Our server greeted us with headphones in and spilled our drinks when setting them down without noticing, apologizing or providing napkins to clean them up. Food and extras were run by other staff and servers for most of the night. Our calamari was drenched in oil and the food was sitting in two sauces which made the calamari soggy and chewy instead of crispy, the presentation was unappetizing, red sauce was watery, and a sweet lemon sauce is just bizarre for the dish. With it being priced at $15, it was insanely not worth it. There was no check back from our server to see if there were issues when we got our appetizers and food. Overall, the ambiance is great and they have really good food. We haven't had this service issue before, so I really hope they're just understaffed or something was going on the night we went. Their wedding soup is lovely, and it's hard to go wrong with any of their flavorful pasta dishes, but most of their prices in addition to the poor service made it feel lackluster. The desserts were truly amazing though- get that chocolate cake!!! We might come back for happy hour drinks and apps in the future, but not for a meal & we will be avoiding certain dishes in the future. Wheelchair accessibility: you will need to enter through the back of the restaurant (across from BELK) because the main entrance only has stairs. There is handicap parking and a ramp right at the back entrance though. There is no hostess stand where the handicap entry is and the doors are without handicap easy open buttons, though they aren't very heavy. The entrance has double doors for wide accessibility. There is also a wide hallway and plenty of room between tables to operate your chair but you won't be able to enjoy happy hour because it is bar only and the bar is not wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms have clearance with a roll-under sink and accessible stall with handrails. Very accessible overall!

Have never been to Bravo! before so we decided to check it out while doing some shopping on Bridge Street. A sign out front recently announced they were open for Brunch till 3pm on weekends but that's not why we came to Bravo! Italian Kitchen. We came in and were informed there would be a 15-20 minute wait due to the restaurant being at capacity for lunch. That was fine with us so we were happy to wait. While we did, an executive chef came over and gave our child some balloons (left by a previous kid's party) which made her day. The restaurant physically reminds me of Cheesecake Factory when it comes to a sophisticated interior with high end touches, but it is much more open concept (not filled with high backed booths you can see across the dining room for the most part), there isn't any loud music and it is a pretty calm place. It's one of 25 restaurants scattered across the eastern United States, with most of them being located in PA and OH. While we were waiting, they gave us menus so we could look while we waited (wish more restos would do this). After a little waiting, we were seated and had our drink order taken (they serve Pepsi products). We were also able to immediately order thanks to having gotten a menu in the lobby. I picked the Lasagna, wife got the Tomato Caprese (tomatoes with fresh mozzerella slices, basil and a balsamic reduction) and a cup of wedding soup, kids got Mac n Cheese and chicken tenders. Kitchen had ran out of bread sticks and we had to wait for some to come out of the oven - they came hot served with a plate of garlic and oil to dip in and was pretty tasty. Food came out relatively quick. My lasagna was interesting - it was a lot smoother than I am used to with regards to texture. Taste was on the sweater side (mostly due to a lot of ricotta and cheese). Wife was not a huge fan of the Caprese or the Wedding Soup (she thought the wedding soup was a tad tart). One daughter liked her Mac N Cheese (wife said it had real cheese, which was a plus), older kid liked the fries with parmesan cheese on top, was much less enthusiastic with the chicken straps. They were not over cooked (a plus) but also not noteworthy other than that fact. I would have appreciated of the waitress had offered another round of hot bread. Overall, a pretty good experience. We aren't huge Italian fans (besides Pizza - wasn't super impressed with one I passed by on the way in) so can't judge the food harshly. Prices were reasonable (a little more than Red Lobster/Olive Garden and well within the range of sit down meals, most dishes running around $20 with kids meals costing $9). Atmosphere is awesome for a relaxing lunch while out shopping at Bridge Street and wasn't slam packed on Sunday after church. I'd swing by and check it out at least once!

My wife, son and I arrived just before 5pm on a Friday afternoon at the Bridge Street Town Center and we decided to dine at Bravo, an Italian Restaurant located on the Northeast corner of the mall. As we entered the restaurant we were immediately greeted by a young lady at the front and we were taken directly to a quiet booth in the South end of the restaurant. Upon being seated we were greeted by Judith, our server who took our drink orders. While waiting for our drinks we had just enough time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted to order for our dinner meals. Judith also brought out a basket of hot fresh bread and a saucer with Olive Oil and Pepper Flakes. Upon delivering our drinks we ordered the Crispy Ravioli for an appetizer. Which was delivered within minutes of ordering. The Ravioli was hot and crisp accompanied with two condiment cups, one cup filled with Marina sauce and the other with Alfredo sauce. The Crispy Ravioli was the perfect light appetizer. For the dinner meals my son ordered the Chopped Salad and Shrimp Scampi. My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana. I ordered the Veal Parmigiana. All three meals arrived together promptly within 5-10 from ordering. They were hot and freshly made. The portions are large but reasonable. My Veal Parmigiana was hot, cheesy and perfectly cooked. It was tender and perfectly breaded. The Veal Parmigiana and Eggplant both came with two large seasoned and breaded filets accompanied with a light and perfectly cooked spaghetti. I enjoyed my Veal so much I finished the entire meal. My wife finished half of her meal and happily got a to-go box to take her leftover Eggplant Parmigiana to enjoy for a meal the following day. I boldly ordered to servings of the Caramel Mascarpone Cheesecake for my wife and I to enjoy at home. The Cheesecake is decadent and rich with a light Caramel Drizzle and whipped cream on the side. We very much enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Even as the dining area get busier with patrons the noise level was low with various tables of customers visiting and enjoying their meals. We will definitely dine there again in the future. The meal is a bit pricey but worth it for good original Italian meal. Throughout our meal Judith our server frequently and politely but not excessively came to check on us and make sure we enjoyed our experience.

Server was great, I tipped $15 on a $20 tab. Food was okay. Atmosphere was amazing. General Manager was a prick.

I made reservations a week or 2 before for May 11. I knew it was a Mother’s Day rush, I made resos for my birthday in advanced for 7 people. People called out last minute and I was arriving late- we called 20 minutes before my original reservation time to alert the hosts that we would be arriving 15 minutes late from the original time and that our party went down from 7 to 5 people. We arrived and the General Manager was giving us attitude, claimed they didn’t know if we were going to even arrive. We were earlier than what I told the host on the phone. I let her know that I had called in advance about us being late but will still be arriving. I understood if we had to wait a few minutes for them to set our table up, I am a very patient person due to working in the same industry and understanding the day and the party size. Instead, I was greeted by a rude lady (server told me she was the general manager), she cut me off while trying to explain the amount of people coming since apparently the hostess on the phone did not communicate what we said to the staff. You can hear the attitude from her voice and on her face. She rolled her eyes at us. I am a hostess myself at an upscale restaurant in town, I know exactly how things should be handled and how professional a manager should be to customers ESPECIALLY customers who are willing to wait, communicated accordingly, and was nice and had no attitude towards the staff. I can understand if my party did not call to alert the issue before the original time- but that was not what had happened. It was my birthday- I was greeted by a rude General Manager named Dana or Shana or whatever the blonde woman’s name was. Her attitude was incredibly CLASSLESS, absolutely has no tact. You can not call yourself a General Manager if you can not handle your anger issues towards customers, and should always hold a professional attitude and expression towards them. Hospitality should be given to everybody especially to customers in a RESTAURANT. Her attitude could be mistaken for a waffle house employee who has to work a night shift after having to work a Sunday morning shift. Most general managers take skill classes before taking such a high position, and she obviously either did not exceed well in the class or just don’t care about how she treats the customers who put money into her business that she is running. Poor service from the general manager only. Get therapy for those anger issues,...
