Candlewood Suites Huntsville - Research Park by IHG — Hotel in Huntsville

I am currently staying at Candlewood Suites in Research Park Huntsville, and had such a great experience! I had to take a moment to share it. Everyone I encountered was kind and helpful, but I especially want to recognize two amazing team members who truly went above and beyond.

Leslie on 3rd shift (with blonde hair) and Laura on 2nd shift (with long brown hair) were absolute standouts. These two ladies know what true hospitality means. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcome and seen not just as a guest, but as a person. They are both the epitome of southern hospitality!

No matter the request, big or small, they handled everything with kindness, patience, and a positive attitude. They never made me feel like I was asking for too much or being a bother, and that kind of service makes a lasting impression.

It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it reflects in the way they treat people. Thank you, Leslie and Laura, for making my stay so comfortable… you are the heart...

We've stayed in IHG hotels all across the country and this is one we won't be staying in again. The rooms weren't clean, there was sticky stuff on bathroom counters and floors. The sheets and floors had hair all over them. There was a dirty sock on the floor. I left the room to grab something out of the vehicle and left my 10 and 6yr old in the room, two minutes later I get a call from my kids screaming and crying because housekeeping knocked and opened the door scaring them so bad that they ran to the bathroom and locked the door to call me. The manager said it showed in their system that the room was vacant even though we were obviously still there and room was paid for. He didn't seem to think it was a problem. Worst stay we've ever had. The hallways and elevator was dirty and also...

I had an excellent stay at Candlewood Suites Huntsville! The location is very convenient, close to everything I needed. The hotel feels new, very clean, and fresh throughout. My room was spotless, with a wonderful modern design and comfortable furniture that made it easy to relax.

I especially loved the 24/7 fresh coffee—such a great touch and always available when I needed it.

But what truly made my stay outstanding was the staff. From the moment I walked in, Jamila, Laura, and Dez went above and beyond to make me feel completely at home. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care set this hotel apart.
