Well, as I can see below, the pattern of why what occurred tonight has become the norm is discouraging and will keep people from visiting or doing business with this location.
I have not been to this Popeyes location or Popeyes in forever. Tonight, my son wanted to go so we did.
I placed an order for three combo meals, all each different, of course. When I was given the large bag that appeared to be half empty, I questioned whether all of my items were in there, so I had my son double check the bag before I completely drove out of the parking lot, only to figure out that they missed an entire meal so, I drove back around to the drive-through speaker and advised the ordering attendant that I was missing an entire meal. When I drove up to the window, I had to tell him again for the SECOND time. I offered to give him the bag so that he could double check and make sure that the food was actually missing and I also provided him with the receipt that he gave me when I placed the order and paid for the first time. Another employee came back to the window with the two side items from the entire meal that was missing and said have a great night. They walked away from the window, and I had to wait for them to come back to grab their attention to tell them for a THIIRD time, I was still missing the tenders from my meal that I had ordered. He sarcastically said, oh you’re still missing items? And I said, yes, sir, I’m still missing the tenders for my meal, all that she gave me, meaning the other employee was the two side items. At this point, he closed the window, and a third employee walked up to the window and handed me a separate box with tenders, and at that point, I was still missing the biscuit that came with the mail as well. I also asked for multiple black and ranch sauces and did not receive those either. It is straight up, ridiculous that I had to ask for a meal that I paid for three times from your employees before I actually received it.
And also, as I can see from below, that your cliché robotic scripted responses from the restaurant/business itself is doing nothing to improve the experience or correct the issues that we are getting from this Popeyes location, nor are you doing anything to...
Read moreThis review is strictly on the food. Have you all tried the sweet and spicy wings???? Before I start this review, allow me to set the stage...I do not like wet wings. I typically only order dry wings (it does not matter where I get them from). As a matter of fact, when I ordered the sweet and spicy wings the first time, I had no idea they were wet or else I would not have ordered them. By the time I received them, I was so hungry I just ate them. So initially, I thought it was because I was so hungry that I liked them so much, but I tried them again (and again), and the wings are definitely good.
I think Popeyes put something on these wings to make you want to keep eating them. They come in a 6, 12, and 24 count. I only get the 6 count because they are dangerous (seriously). When you get them first try one without the Ranch dressing. They are good, but if you do not eat a lot of spicy food, you will want to open the Ranch dressing that comes with the wings. Then I want you to dip the second one in the Ranch dressing...OMG!!!! Just when you think the wings could not get any better, it is like the combination of the wings with the Ranch dressing creates a new flavor profile, and all I can say is Popeye's nailed it. These wings put that Chicken Sandwich to shame. You have to try these wings, but be careful because they are addictive. I like them since they are crispy, sweet, and packing a little heat all at the same time.
Now, for the downside, it takes a long time to...
Read moreMixed feelings - This place is like a box of chocolates...you never KNOW what you're going to get. Meaning, you don't know if the food is going to be fresh or old. You don't know if the staff will be friendly or not. - Almost every, if not every single visit to this restaurant has been marked with some unpleasant or "lack-luster" customer service experience, with its staff. The people are blatantly rude, but rather condescending, arrogant & rather rude. God forbid you ask for hot sauce or honey, they snap at you like "it's in the bag." It's like, "ok, maybe I want some more !" However, that is NOT cool with them !!! And who wants to eat GREASY fried chicken with NO NAPKINS to wipe your hands ? Napkins are never in the bag. For the record, if I order 20+ pieces of chicken, 3 or 4 packets of hot sauce is not enough, just as 3 packets of honey, for 6 biscuits is unacceptable. Gosh, if they're worried about wasting condiments, it'd be a better idea to ASK which condiments you need, that way customers actually get what they WANT, not what the employees THINK they want. Also, the fountain drinks are hit or miss, either they're primarily sugar or they're really carbonated & good!!! The only drink I'm taking chances on is the strawberry Fanta! I ordered one and it was DELICious; parked & went in to order more food & a drink for someone else & the drink wasn't half as good as the last...
