Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Huntsville

This place is a laughable operation. The night staff on March 22, 2021 was extremely slow. Customers were leaving because they werent tended to after waiting over 20 minutes to have orders taken. Meanwhile, behind the wall, you could see the line worker taking her sweet time moving slow to fix food, then turns around to talk to another coworker for atleast 5 minutes. Then, another girl by the food line drops something on the floor, picks it up and continues making food without even washing her hands! The prep line is filthy with plenty of cross contamination going on. Then I watched the cashier go to the back after taking orders and exchanging money, go to the back, stick her bare hands in pico, and started making food. ON top of all of that, other customers were complaining that apparently these workers had trouble (no experience) preparing food or operating a restaurant. Others were complaining that it in fact was NOT FAST FOOD. I two doordash pick up orders at two seperate times yesterday and both times took atleast 25 minutes. It is sad because one order was supposed to be ready for pick up at 7:09 pm but wasn't ready until 7:33 pm. This order had to be delivered late which affects MY BUSINESS. Late orders affect my rating which costs me money and orders! This is affecting others businesses because of the lack of care these employees have. Someone has to be accountable for all of this! This is unacceptable! Taco Cabana needs to train their employees to do better, or hire new ones who can keep up with the fast paced business...

Really upset with one of the employees at this location. I ordered a beyond meat bowl and went to the park with my family. When we got there and opened the food to eat, we saw there was no beyond meat. My husband checked around to make sure it was definitely missing. It was, so once we were done at the park we went back to the store to ask to please have it replaced and we wanted to order more food as well. One of the employees who said he makes the bowls told us it looked like we “scooped the meat out”, like there was an indentation where it used to be. Lol, no. We moved the ingredients around with a fork to check if we just missed the meat underneath other ingredients. That’s it. It’s SO rude to accuse us of lying to cover your own mistake. To our face telling us it looked like we took out a single ingredient. Why would we even do that? And literally where in this bowl do you see red greasy “meat” leftovers? The employee gave us back the same bowl of food and a small container of beyond meat. I’m fine with getting the same bowl back but I feel like he did that instead of replacing the full meal to be spiteful. I did call to speak to the manager because I was in shock and quite angry to be accused of scooping out an ingredient lol. She was apologetic but not really much she can do. I’m just extremely disappointed in the service by that cook. I managed a food place here in town and I would never speak to a customer that way and accuse them of lying, even if I did suspect it. We’re never coming back to...

10/19 ordered via app, app need a little tweaking but... Food was perfect fresh and had plenty of cheese and good amounts of meat this time!!!! Ordered small sampler with steak quesadilla,chips and ta. Had small mixup was fixed fast.

9/2019 Love the shredded chicken tacos just wish they put more meat, it's mostly tortilla. Sad about the street tacos they changed something, but definitely the flavor is Gone.

9/2019 back to fresh and tasty. Don't like the wait time the past times I've been, it is still not good expect like 20-30 min to get food. The new peach empanadas are very good but super small for that price!!!!

8/2019 Usually very good and fresh. Will say in the past have had some trouble with the cashier but there always friendly. The street tacos are hit or miss, one day full of flavor the next not so much. One thing that does upset me is sometimes they put just enough meat the next barely enough to even taste. I did not like the Pancakes, glad I only paid 1$. Won't get again. Think I'ma take a break from this place for a bit.
