This Whataburger has been consistently great up until maybe the last month. I've received multiple wrong orders via the drive through. Sometimes it's a burger with cheese even though when they ask, I very clearly specify no. Sometimes it's putting unwanted condiments on the burger without offering a readback. Sometimes it's handing me the entirely wrong order without checking to see what it is. When I try to bring up these issues, or even just ask for ketchup in the outer drive through lane, the staff seem apathetic and even forget what I asked for, leaving me to block the drive through lane for five minutes while others who already have their food are waiting.
I like the food here, I'm not going to stop getting the food here, but I'd prefer my food to be correct if I'm going to eat here. I'm sure it can get better.
Addendum: After the most recent incident, I returned to Whataburger to request that my order be remade (something which I am not really keen on doing as it's a bit rude in my opinion) and the manager immediately remade my order in a polite and timely manner. I thanked them for their troubles and I am updating this to have three stars. There are still issues, but at least the managerial staff is polite in correcting them. I have high hopes for this...

I generally really like Whataburger, but had a very subpar experience at this location. It was the middle of the afternoon and not busy. We went through the drive through, and had a simple order, just two regular whataburgers, my husband asked them to hold the mayo on his and give him some ketchup packets. Communication through the drive through speaker was spotty--but that's literally every drive through ever and the order was displayed correctly on the screen. We pulled forward and paid and waited....and waited....and waited. Staff had another car move around us on the side and delivered a large bag to them and we were still waiting. Finally with a lame "sorry about that" we were handed a bag and discovered that one of our burgers had no condiments at all, and the other had ONLY mayonnaise. Meat was undercooked and cold. No ketchup packets at all. How can you mess up that simple of an order? Husband pulled over and walked in and asked for ketchup packets. Still no apology or offer to make things right. I hardly ever bother to write a review for a fast food chain, but this experience was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCurbside has been garbage. Previously waited 10 minutes past my scheduled arrival time stated in the app for my order. And today 25 minutes past the time I was told to arrive(and I never even received the order today; just left.)
Yet they still processed it on their end like they did deliver it to my car side; before I even left. As the app would no longer let me select the order which would display my curbside check in number and allow me to change said number. It now just showed the receipt.
And they can't/won't issue a refund because another department(other than their contact number listed) has to handle the refunds. What a joke. So I have to wait up to 3 days before a refund is even initiated.
Like always. Try to be nice and give them time in case they are understaffed or just busy. But both these times were during non-peak hours. Food is fine. Service not there both locally and within the corporate systems.
Will not eat at a whataburger again. Too many other burger options with better...
