This is an updated rating. The place is shiny clean still. The people are still very friendly and thorough. I don't know how the manager is finding them, but keep up the good work. 😂 I ordered the raspberry chicken tacos, black beans, and cilantro rice. The jalapenos were delicious and spicy. The chicken was also delicious. The tortillas were crispy upon eating. Once again a very good experience. I will be adding this to my list of places to eat out. The smothered grilled chicken burrito is what my husband ordered and it was also delicious. They did not disappoint with the "extra order of beans and rice" for the burrito. Impressive and thank you guys again. It didn't taste like the food had been left out. Yummy and fresh.

I had lunch in Costa Vida today and wanted to give you my impressions. First, the good stuff.... It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food really is fresh. I had a chicken burrito and I watched the server take the flour tortilla right off the grill. Service was very fast (yes, it is a fast food restaurant) and the food was excellent. I was asked about all the options on my burrito and it came out perfect. The price was a lot cheaper than I expected and it was more than I could eat. Now for the bad stuff.... well, there really wasn't any bad stuff other than a mother with twin toddlers just discovering their screaming voice. Not Costa Vida's fault.

Very similar to Chipotle, but they actually had more choices of everything: tortillas, meats, salsas, etc. They even put your burrito with cheese on top of it through the toaster. The daily specials are good deals (especially on Sunday when you can choose any of the specials), but it would be nice if there was a cheaper option if you didn't want a drink. Service was fine, but they didn't make any effort to explain the process to people who were clearly new to it. There was a cashier who seemed new and didn't know what the special were, so we had to tell her. Prices are decent, similar to Chipotle, but portions are smaller than Chipotle.

one star and that's generous. If only I could take stars away....well to be honest my boyfriend and I were unhappy to hear that Costa Vida would be taking over where Durango's used to be, but we decided to give them a try. Well we have tried and tried to give them a try several times and haven't ever really been happy about anything we have gotten there, yesterday ended the "give them a try" for us. Its always on a Friday night (our ritual started when Durango's was in the location) we usually arrive around 7 pm give or take a few minutes. We are aware that Friday nights can be a busy time at restaurants. Costa Vida is a little more money than Durango's but not by much a buck or 2. You get less salad at Costa Vida. But the worst part is standing in line for 20 min only to reach the counter and have one small marinated steak salad started and as the second one is being ordered being told "oh we are out of steak for the night".....wait what? its 7 pm on a Friday, you have a line through your parking lot for the drive thru not to mention the line on the inside to the door, the fact that your open for another 3 hrs and your saying you have no more steak tonight?? (you see here Durango's would say that will be one moment while we cook some more steak, right in front of us on the small flat top located right behind where they make the salads, kinda like the one Costa Vida has as well) If this had only happened once I could understand, but sadly that's not the case. To the Cashiers in Costa Vida when you are ringing someone up and ask if they are want to get a drink with that? and your customer replies with "no, thank you" don't proceed to charge them for some meal deal that saves them 75 cents on a medium drink that they didn't want in the first place and then because they the staff is so new and learning that you don't want to complain to the manager and make the employee feel bad. This Costa Vida location should be shut down until everyone from the manager down to the tidy bowl cleaner either gets retrained so they know how to run this restaurant, if the manager(s) and employees are unable to get on the same page then its time for them to go find work...

You can’t call this Mexican food. Chipotle puts this place to shame. I’d rather have Taco Bell! First of all, pulled up to the drive thru window. No “hello your total is _.” The person literally said the price only. Took my card gave it back to me and not a single word. Isn’t it customary to say thank you or something? Hands any bag of food and drink. No have a good day or anything. So the person literally only said the total of the meal during that entire transaction. Wow. Might want to work on your customer service!

The food couldn’t have been as bad at the terrible customer service right? WRONG! Food was awful! If you want pork saturated in honey then get the sweet pork. You’ll have a blast. Definitely the worst pork I’ve ever had in my life. Chicken tortilla soup is more like slightly salted water with tortilla strips. Save yourself some $ and don’t get it. If you like some spice in your salsa then you’ve come to the wrong place!! The “salsa” is all SWEET. What the…… who the heck is making this awful salsa??? Seriously. You can’t even call it salsa!!! I’d give this place negative stars if I could.

If you want something more authentic than this place there were other Mexican restaurants around. But luckily I found the best one (sarcastic much?) AVOID THIS...

July 7th 2018, @4:30 pm I went to the drive thru to get me a sweet pork small salad, it’s what I usually get every once a week from here. Was never disappointed until today, what happen? What there a new worker there?, because my salad is not the same as usual. Like I said, this is the first time my salad tasted disgusting, I asked for a vinaigrette like always, and the little girl at the drive thru tried to offer me the mango dressing, I said no I want vinagrette, it is so hot outside and tiring from work, that I just grab my food and want to get home and eat. I open my food and it was not what I expected. The vinagrette dressing was watery, my salad have water on the bottom on top of the tortilla, the beans and rice so as lettuce were cold, it was soggy as hell. From what I felt, it was sitting there on the counter for a good 15 min, cause they prolly made someone a wrong order, and then realize it then left it sit there until I got there and they just added chips and hand it to me. This is not cool Costateam, I work at the hotel and send a lot of my guests there all the time, please fix this before I stop sending the guests there, I don’t want them to have this same exact...
