Absolutely blown away! I saw the high ratings and was unsure still (you just never know with Mexican food), but boy was I impressed!

There's lots of food on the menu, but here's a few standouts that I highly recommend!!

Carnitas!! So, so good. Some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, but not overcooked. Still soft in the center of the chunks of Carnitas. The mini tacos were great!

Birria Taco! It is expensive but the taco is double tortillas and was almost too full with meat and cheese! The cheese was the star of the show on this! The consume was okay, but really the taco was so amazing. Get this and dip in their white salsa and some of their purple onion, mango habanero salsa... And then a dash of their orange, smoky salsa!!! Yum!!!!

Speaking of salsa - The salsa bar was on point! And it's not your typical salsas. They had the purple onion, mango habanero that was FIRE! Their own avacado ranch. A smokey orange medium salsa. A spicy thick red, pepper salsa. Their Tomatillo (not as good as I had hoped for since all their other ones were phenomenal). And then of course a couple hot ones that were good. There was also some pickled purple onions that were great. And they had an insanely spicy smoked chili oil salsa that was delicious! My top three were there purple onion, avacado ranch, and the orange mild salsa. All of them were homemade, fresh, and fully stocked. All of them were good but those three were the tastiest! The only thing about the salsa bar was that there weren't any limes or cilantro/white onions. There were lemons and the carrots/jalapeños, but no limes/cilantro/onions was unusual. There was an empty space so maybe they were refilling? Other than that though, probably the best salsa bar I've ever enjoyed!

I tried their Durango taco, but wasn't a big fan. It was basically a giant pita/tortilla that had lettuce and a cut up tomato. Good but not a highlight of the food here.

I will definitely be back and want to try more of their tacos/meat, their burritos, the nachos (looked so good), and their quesadillas! If the cheese on the Birria is the same as the quesadilla... A Carnitas quesadilla would be so amazing.

I'll be back! So good!

Also just a note, everything is made fresh to order so it's not a quick, to-go option. We probably waited about 20-25 minutes for some tacos, Birria, and a few other items. It's fresh and takes time. Don't compare it to other grab and go taco places. I believe you can order online and call ahead though if you are passing through town. Be sure to stock up on the salsa bar though if...

Hi, I really wanted to give this place a good review because I think it is decorated nice and the girl working at the counter was very nice in my opinion,I do need to be honest though this is the reason i get many likes and views on Google because if it is bad I will say it is so. I will first tell you what I ordered. I had the Tuesday 2 taco special and also ordered 2 Birria Tacos. I will start with the Birria Tacos. They hardly had any meat, hardly had any cheese that I ordered it with? and the meat was almost entirely made of fat. I have had this style of taco at many places in Portland, San Diego, and at Taco Plaza in St George and all very delicious not like these, the meat lacked flavor and for 5 dollars a peace should have had more than 4 bites of meat? and more than just 2 pinches of cheese? The Special was better portion of shredded beef, but also very dull in flavor and the shells were over cooked and hard to bite into, also not much cheese. the rice was pretty good though and the refried beans were cold and may have been the worst I have ever ate? I will be trying the new Mexican restaurant across the street next to Tj's next I hope I have better luck? Maybe I will try them again in 6 months after they have been open for awhile? honestly I bet the owner would not make the food like this? If this is your...

Been coming here a few years now. Change in ownership was a sad day and the food thereafter was not up to par. But they stepped up after a short transition and we've continued to be customers. Food is good!

But today I'm very annoyed. There's a house special I like. It came with three pieces. There's a photo of it in the reviews... with 3 pieces. At some point it was reduced to 2 pieces and the price adjusted. Since then I have ordered this item several times. It always comes with 2 pieces. Today I ordered 2 of this dish, but I got one. I returned and explained I ordered 2 and showed them my receipt. They inspected my order and proclaimed there's 2 orders. There were 2 pieces, not the 4 I anticipated. They showed me a flyer menu with the price. I asked if they had changed the item quantity or price. My question went unanswered. In frustration I left.

Now home, I dished up food for family and returned to their website. There it is. Menu item with photo... including 2 pieces. Looks like I'm finally going to be trying Mazatlan on the next block. I don't care how good it is or what a good deal it may be. I don't like feeling cheated. I'll be hard pressed to order here again.

And now 4 months later.... I've prepared this dish myself at home several...

I’m only giving 3 stars because normally I come here to enjoy some bomb menudo but for some reason today 8/16/25, they didn’t have any. I don’t know if it’s because of the cook because I ordered a huarache instead and when I brought it home the entire bottom masa part was basically a tostada at that point because it was cooking for too long. Almost burnt taste. Also ordered birria tacos and those were good. Makes me think about not coming here anymore because of my experience today though. Edit: Owner not taking responsibility and cracking joke after I took the pic of a clearly burnt bottom is crazy. Change to 1 star. I’ll be getting my menudo from my second fave spot for now on 🤌
