Honestly I am really disappointed by my service today. I hope the owner sees this Google review and can address this situation. I would give this location zero stars if I had the option, solely for their customer service. My husband and I went into Dairy Queen tonight as locals. I also am a former Dairy Queen employee that has helped open and run multiple locations in Utah and is passionate about customer service. The shift leader (or manager that he claimed to be) took our order through the drive thru and treated us awful - he was rude and disrespectful, and seemed to not only lack training in their systems but in professionalism and kindness. I kindly asked for him to remove an item on my order because they did not have all the ingredients for it which he told me at the window. He refused because it was already made, and when I asked again he told me he wasn't going to "take my crap." I am in the customer service industry and cannot believe the way we were treated. It is completely distasteful. The language of service is an apology or empathy and offering a solution. Although I paid for the item he did not even give it to us. I love the Dairy Queen franchise and really hope the owner will offer feedback or further training to their employees and especially "managers" so other locals and people traveling through, won't have such a negative experience as I did. These experiences have a lasting impression not only of Dairy Queen, but our hometown and of Southern Utah. We won't...
Read moreTerrible staff. When we arrived, several of them were playing around in the entrance and scattered when they saw us (customers were in the building, so it’s not like they were even alone). We got there at an hour until closing and there were only a few chairs and tables NOT stacked up. Bathrooms were already blocked up for cleaning at 10 (they were supposed to close at 10:30). Tables next to us were being sprayed, including almost into our food (at least that kid was working though, that’s more than I can say for their coworkers I talk about next). Felt like we were being kicked out a HALF HOUR before closing at a FAST FOOD restaurant. Worst of all, we had to tell our order several times to the teenager taking our order because his coworker kept talking to him. That coworker also kept giving me glares while I stared at her talking to him while we were waiting to tell him. Apparently her story about wanting to go bowling was more interesting than doing her job or letting others do theirs. I saw a comment similar to this in a review from a few months ago, so obviously something needs to change. I recommend either some firings or serious conversations occur. We have loved our experiences here in the past, but...
Read moreThis store goes down as the first worst store experiences I have ever had, and it al comes down to an arrogant and disrespectful manager named Jaru. My family and I visited this location to have dinner and ice cream. I ordered a swirled dipped cone for my dessert, and this manager brought it out to me himself. I cannot believe my eyes when he handed it to me, and the ice cream was soft, formed and overlapping the cone. I Commented to the young man That the ice cream was not up to Dairy Queen standards. His reply to me was “I don’t make them!“ The ice cream was soft, and it fell apart before I could even eat it. I was so disgusted with it, and I threw it away and went to the manager To explain my concern, and instead of being apologetic and understanding, I was met with rudeness and the worst customer service I’ve had in years. Jaru told me that it taste the same and continued to be me with rude comments as I tried to speak to a different manager, and request my money back. Even after being told to be quiet and go away, he continued to embarrass me I was very upfront with my feelings, and I told him that he shouldn’t be a manager and that he had poor...
