Totally Tea — Restaurant in Hurst

I know i have posted it a five star before, but i have to be honest. I ordered a large Taro boba tea it was good however, for a large size i have never been charged $7 anywhere else. I think they are over charging, it’s over price. I gave it a five star only because the staff put a sign that we get a free boba, if we just sign in at google and leave a good reviews and five star in order to avail the promo.. but i will take it back! So I did gave a five star and my friend and so as the other customers. They never give reciepts, as I observed everything came out from the register go straight to the trash😮 but i asked mine! I said i want my receipt. She didn’t look happy. I was not satisfied it shows all a bogus just to get good reviews! The sign says free bobba if i give good reviews, but I was still charged and so as my friend and the others. They are scamming...

The tea was gross...the boba wasn’t prepared correctly so instead of being chewy, it was hard, like tiny rocks. The price point, $7 for one drink, is quite frankly ridiculous. Go to Bobaddiction or Feng Cha or Gong Cha or Sphere Tea or Boba Tea House for your boba fix instead. I believe Sphere Tea is the closest one to the mall, and they don’t charge out the roof and their tea is WAY better.

Also, the workers were rude. I saw them pointing and laughing at other people in the food court. And finally, you may be wondering how there are so many five star reviews and not many one star reviews like mine- this is because when the place first opened, they held a promotion where if you gave them a five star review and showed it to them on your phone, they gave you a free drink. I’m reporting your establishment to the health department. Watching staff use their phones while working and then reach directly into bags of powder with unwashed hands is unacceptable. It’s extremely concerning to think about how many employees might be using their phones in the restroom without properly sanitizing them afterward—then returning to handle ingredients without washing their hands. This kind of negligence is a serious health risk and a prime way for viruses like norovirus to spread. Please take hygiene and food safety seriously and train your staff accordingly.
