Symphony Jewelers (specifically the manager Nash) was able to accomplish what I believed to be the impossible. I had been to 10-15 other stores searching for a very particular engagement ring that I had seen online (it was a ring sold by a brand of jewelry that likes to use a lot of chocolate diamonds in their jewelry but I won't mention any specific names). I brought Nash a photo of the ring that I wanted and he was able to have the piece recreated (it was a piece that was no longer available for purchase at the store it was originally being sold at). The original store offered to make it for me but told me it would take 3 to 4 months to recreate. Nash had the ring made for me and the end result was amazing. I'm a very picky person and that being said, I was still very pleased. The quality of the ring and the quality of the diamonds were much better than I expected for a price much lower than I expected. If I had used the original quality diamonds from the original piece from a store that begins with a "J" and ends with "ared," the piece would have cost me over $10,000 with much lower quality diamonds. The ring from Symphony Jewelers had higher quality stones and actually cost me less money. The ring appraised for much higher than what I purchased it for (and much higher than the ring from the original store). I'm very glad I listened to Nash and allowed him to have the ring made, even when I was very skeptical when he said he could have it done in less than a third of the time that the other place told me it would take. I highly recommend Nash and Symphony Jewelers to anyone that wants to pay less for higher quality pieces/stones than they would pay at traditional chain stores. I will definitely be revisiting this store every time I make any future jewelry purchases. Thanks Nash and Symphony Jewelers for accomplishing the impossible. I absolutely love the engagement ring and I'm sure my soon-to-be-fiancee will...
Read moreCustomer service was nice and quick but my wife was very pressured from the guy that claimed he was the owner. I was not there at the time or the transaction would not have taken place. Upon getting her ring he gave her a 250$ gift card that he said she could use towards something in the store or 250$ Off of a purchase that was 750$ or more. This afternoon my wife and I went to get me a new wedding band with the gift card and low and behold the guy we spoke to would not honor it towards merchandise in the store which it clearly states on the back of the card, can be used toward merchandise in the store except clearance items. It also says 250$ off of purchases 750$ or more as I stated earlier. My personal experience let’s me know it was a scam to get my wife to buy the ring or the guy we spoke to this afternoon Was not aware that my wife was told we could put it towards another purchase which she tried to explain to him and pointed out the guy she bought the ring from. He was not budging either way nor was he interested in getting to the bottom of it which is fine, my money and future purchases will go to another jewelry place because I will NEVER go back here. You got us once but it will not happen again. I’m sincerely glad to see other people enjoyed the stuff they got according to many of the reviews because Symphony does have some very beautiful pieces of jewelry. Maybe today just wasn’t our day. Lost a customer and word of mouth here. Take care, hopefully this...
Read moreDeceptive practices, incompetent work. Beware.
I bought a watch as a birthday gift from this store. The sales staff was overall friendly. They gave me a good price and I agreed to the purchase. At the register, AFTER my card was run, she proceeds to tell me since they gave me a "good price" I could not return it. Only option would be exchange. They make you sign the printout to be sure you attest to this. There was never any mention of this prior to them swiping my card.
After that was done, she went to take a link out of the watch band and scratched it. She went through several different tools trying to get the pin out and then started yanking on the pin with needle nose pliers.
At this point the transaction was complete, it was getting late and I was more than a little pissed about having the "no return" thing dropped on me at the last minute that I simply took the watch and left.
After getting home I looked closer at the fine print on the piece of paper she had me sign, at the very bottom it says "No Refunds or Exchanges on Watches". So not only did they drop the whole "no refunds, only exchanges" thing on me at the last minute, they actually lied because apparently there aren't even exchanges for the item I purchased. What happens now if the person I bought it for doesn't like it? I'm screwed...
