Not bad at all. Cozy, nice interior, not darkb no too much light. Yes, service was perfect. But I still trying to find the best kimchi soup in DFW. Here it was spicy enough. But not because of good quality kimchi. They just added a lot of red chili pepper powder. Kimchi in panchan was too fresh. If you like spicy this is a right place. But if you prefer not so spicy but with more meat (cause my soup here had only 3 small pieces of pork. So definitely soup was not neither broiled from pork nor from kimchi.) you'd better go to Sam's Korean restaurant. Also they charged 3$ for hot korean tea when almost all other Korean restaurants are serving it for free. By the way, if someboy knows where is the best kimchi jige, please, advise. I will come next time to try their Galbi. Hope it will be better than kimchi soup. I will change my review after that. (3 stars)
2 weeks later came to try Galbi (beef ribs). Sorry. But it was disappointing. All I can say is that it everything else but not Korean Galbi jim. Texture of meat was Chinese style. Width of ribs was fajitah style. Seasoned like not sure what. And it was so challenging to chew these ribs without knife, meat was really tough. I potion of Galbi plus small cup of soup was 28$. Service was nice. Girl was very kind. But still no knife for unchewy pieces of seadoned and greezy meat. And 1 piece of...

Best Korean in HEB! Period.
I've had Korean all around the world. I'll just use English translations to save confusion and time.
Side dishes make or break an experience because of the value you get. Bean sprout, fish cake, kimchee, radish kimchee. Broccoli with sauce. All were excellent.
Had a cucumber kimchee salad. Was thoughtfully and traditionally prepared.
Seafood pancake. A little expensive compared to an equal in quality fort worth restaurant but it was enough for 2 hungry people or 3 sharing. Also it had a good amount of seafood in it!
The spicy pork was excellent and appropriately priced. Served with purple rice, the spice was there but not so much that it would overpower other flavors.
Its expensive for a solo eater with the promise of lots of leftovers which then brings the value way up. I enjoy leftovers so it made me 3 meals which brought my cost per meal very affordable for fresh quality korean. I'd reccomend going with at least one other to balance out your personal cost for the average Joe.
Staff was very friendly. It's not very busy so service was very quick and attentive.
Decor was lovely, see attached pictures. Theres even a 2nd story private room for parties. I'd reccomend that just for fun!
Anyways this was bang on. I reccomend this...
Read moreI have been to Yori on multiple occasions by myself and with friends. I have also organized two events there. The atmosphere and the decor is inviting & excellent 👌 The prices are very reasonable, and making a reservation for an event is easy, and they set up exactly how you want your set up done. I was also able to bring in decor for my events. The service is great, and the waiters are always very attentive, but the Korean food, though, is very lacking. I'm not Korean, but I enjoy, eat, and "cook some" Korean meals like a native. I get excited whenever Korean cuisine is mentioned, and I've basically eaten enough Korean food in South Korea and the US to know the authentic and the very mediocre. If the food was better at this restaurant, I would have breakfast, lunch, and dinner there every single day! My guests who attended my recent event there were also not impressed with the cooking at all. The service is, however, excellent, and you can BYOB! Will I go back...
