This is a great "Mom & Pop" establishment, which sadly, has recently lost its "Pop" :-( . But the rest of the family are hanging in there and wonderfully carrying on the tradition! One of my main annoyances with Italian restaurants, is ordering spaghetti with meat sauce, and having to order an extra side of meat sauce. But that is not the case here! And as with most non-chain places, they have no problems customizing orders (I like my spaghetti with mushrooms & bell peppers!) Their pizzas are also excellent, made to your order! With multiple visits, we did discover that there is a difference between the garlic bread, and the garlic rolls; we much preferred the rolls! They reminded me of the bread scene from "Ratatouille"! And the cheese sticks are definitely better than most I have had around. The service is always attentive, I don't think my drink ever ran empty. The ONLY reason I am not giving a perfect 5 star rating, is with the chicken dishes (we had the chicken fettuccine alfredo) the chicken just seemed a bit rubbery, although the pasta and the sause were supurb (I may be a bit harsh?) Be prepared to pay with cash when you visit, cards are not accepted. Otherwise, enjoy! Edit: We have been back here several times. This time we gave the chicken alfredo another try, and the chicken (as well as everything else) was excellent! Changing my review from...

I truly can not say enough about this place, but I will be kind. Never again will I be back. There were about 20 people in the place. So not very busy on a Saturday night. During my hour visit, I observed 2 tables that were not bussed. I witnessed employees drop trash on the floor and only one stopped to pick it up. The other female employee left it for someone else to get it for her. Now we get to the "food" a very wet plate of lettuce and 2 shavings of carrot are a salad. House dressing was good. Garlic bread was burned with almost no trace of garlic. Sausage roll with no sausage burned in spots and raw in others. Shrimp was overcooked and microwaved. Fettuccine carbonara also microwaved. Hot in spots cold in others. The female waitress did inquire how the food was. I did voice my displeasure but refused to have it fixed ( we were hungry). Since she was told by another employee that we needed our check after our appetizers were served. I now feel like the employee was trying to save me from wasting my money. Very...

My family and I have dined at this restaurant before and the food was ok with some Italian atmosphere. My wife and I went on February 14, for Valentine’s Day. We arrived at approximately 6:15 and our waitress got to our table about ten minutes later to take our order. A welcome and smile from her would have been nice but I guess she was preoccupied or just plain rude. We ordered water, two tossed salads, and a large supreme pizza. About five minutes later we got the customary bread and butter with our water. At 7:15 we got up and walked out. From about 6:30-715 we never had anyone asked if we needed more water or bread and we never received our salads or pizza. I don’t know if our order was lost or what but I did notice other people eventually getting their food. Even to go orders were being picked up. We could have literally chosen hundreds of restaurants in the metroplex to dine at for Valentine’s Day dinner - unfortunately we chose poorly....

The food was really good! My only compliant was that the portion sizes were smaller than most places. My boyfriend got the meatball sub: it was so good and he wants to go back and get another one. His mom: same exact thing, she loved her food and the salad as well. The chicken Alfredo wasn’t overly seasoned, I think it had the right amount of seasoning. The food was warm and very tasty. This restaurant will not disappoint, I’m very glad I suggested it. The cappuccino pie was also really good, but it was pretty small. The rolls were also very tasty! 10/10 all around

Totally random stop for dinner. We are never in Hurst. This place is awesome. Homemade pastas with killer sauce. Ridiculously good priced, seriously, I'd have been happy at twice the price! The homemade rolls are to die for too, lite, crispy, so good they're probably illegal in CA which makes them even better. Seats are a little hard but that is the only downside. We will be back, and it's an hour drive across Ft. Worth to get here!

Authentic and quaint. If you want a quiet place with personal service come eat here. Feels like family owned. The stuffed mushrooms were great. The pizza was great... Bigger than expected. So was the calzone. It was a welcome surprise to find a New York style canoli. The service was great. BYOB and bring cash. Luckily we brought just enough with us.
