I've been looking for a new sushi place after my last spot broke my heart... and I think I've finally found it.

My experience in one sentence: AWESOME value, GREAT food.

The fish was fresh, the rice was soft, and the rolls were well-proportioned. I got my usual — a philly roll, along with some salmon and white tuna nigiri — and my partner got two avocado rolls, add cream cheese.

Truth be told, the quality for the price is unbeatable. Not only was this is the first place to charge a reasonable fee for my partner's modifications, but we were greeted almost immediately. Without missing a beat, the chef introduced us to their menu and entertained all our questions with a certain kindness, passion, and ease. He also took great care in presenting us our dishes, even though we ordered it to-go!

All-in-all, I whole-heartedly encourage you to give this place a shot. They have a full picture menu up on their wall, and they offer each of their specialty rolls for a flat price — $11 compared to the $14-15 you'll see elsewhere.

BONUS: You get to pick your nigiri for the sushi specials. No more settling for fish you don't like or are allergic to. They even offer steamed shrimp, for those sensitive to tempura!

Anyways, thanks again... and what a great addition to the...

I recently moved to Colleyville and have been disappointed with the local sushi offerings here. I moved from Plano where there are some extremely good options within 10 - 15 minutes. I tried the Sushi Go franchises there and all were very sub-par Tom Thumb grade. I saw the reviews for this location and gave it a shot. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this gem! It's seriously some of the best I've ever had, and I'm a card carrying sushi SNOB! Huge portions, market fresh sushi and sashimi. The rice is perfect. I can't get enough! I met the owner Thang on my third visit. He recognized me and asked how everything was. He takes real pride in his craft and runs a tight ship. To go orders are always on the counter waiting for me and I'm 5 minutes away! And always with extra wasabi (I eat it with a spoon!) without even asking. You will NOT be disappointed. FYI you will pay at least 3x more at any restaurant in DFW that even comes close to this quality and service. Please support this local business. For me!...

Quaint Place Fatastic Food

My usual sushi spot was closed for an afternoon visit so I searched and found this new place. The place is clean w an efficiet and upbeat decor. Their sushi creations are very original with a taste to match and finished off with a charming presentation. My volcano roll was served in a gushing display while the other two rolls (king kong and spicy dragon) arrived in a ceramic gondola.

This restaurat does not offer a whole dining experience (atmosphere, table side service, etc) but a very nice venue with outstanding food. And as the name implies...a great place for...

For sushi it's ok. I mean it's mostly American style rolls so a lot of them are similar with slight variation. The quality of the fish was good. Limited selection of fish and unique choices. All of it was prepared well and the price was average. The atmosphere was limited. It is more geared towards quick to go orders and delivery so while they have seating it feels like a to-go place. Which isn't bad but if you are looking for sit down this isn't it. Service and staff was great and overall it is a decent quick eat, recommend if you have a craving but don't want to spend too much time or money.

I had a wonderful experience my first time visiting Sushi Go! I wanted to try because many people in the Mid-Cities Foodies Facebook group have been raving and posting about it. The owner/sushi chef is very proud in his beautiful restaurant- it is super clean and modern. I had the Cry Baby 2 and loved it. Everything is so fresh and full of flavor! My 4 year old daughter had miso soup and cucumber roll and she was pleased. I’m excited to bring my husband next time. I think we will be adding Sushi Go to our family causal dinner spots rotation. I love supporting non-chain restaurants in our area!
