If I could give them not one single star I would. This was my first and last time taking my children there. Such an horrible experience all around! When you first walk in you think wow this is great! We all received our stamps. I went on to buying their play cards. Machine kept a $20 bill (put it in but it never showed it received it) the gentleman at the door stated he would let the manager know that they owed me $20 okay no big deal things happen. We understood. As my husband took our children to go play I went to order our food. We ordered a X-Large pizza and two drinks. Total came to thirty dollars and some change. I handed the young lady a hundred dollar bill. She gave me my changed wrapped in the receipt as my kids where coming up to me saying hey mommy come play with us. At my own ignorance instead of checking the change I put it in my wallet. My husband added more play time to our children's card for them to play longer. As my eight year old son was playing a game with a child he just meet there a teenage boy around 13-15 years old just walked up and took both of their play card. When the boy's came to us we had thought the teenager was an adult by how the children described him. Once they pointed him out and myself and the other child's mother went to ask the boy for our children's cards back. He yelled profanities to us calling us out of our names. There was nothing I could do to a child that was not mine besides tell him to get his mother, father or who ever in world had custody of him to get up there. The other mother and I walked to the counter asking for a manger to explain what had just happened and point the young man out so he couldn't do it to any more children. We where told and I quote "Management is to busy to deal with this. Do you not see how many parties we have here today. Your kids shouldn't have set them on the play table while playing." Yes, that is true they shouldn't have. However, we never thought that they couldn't set their cards in the middle between them without a someone just walking up like it's nothing taking their play cards. Granted the young man was aloud to stay there and play at the cost of two different parents. We collected our tickets and got their prizes. When I went out later to get something from the store is when I found out the little girl from ordering the pizza got me for double. She handed me back a twenty and four fives. Granted my order was thirty and some change. So why did she only hand me back forty dollars? It's sad I should have checked it while there but I didn't. This was such a horribly sad experience for the shinny penny at witch we paid. Not to mention management never...
Read moreThe games are kind of outdated and those that work at all don't all work properly. The food is not bad but extremely overpriced. Paid $60 for 2x personal pan pizzas and 12 boneless wings and 3 drinks. Most of the employees are extremely young and have absolutely no customer service experience and are incredibly incompetent. I had my sons 3rd birthday party here and the party planner was almost 30min late (which counted against my 2hr window ofcorse) The balloon package that I pre-ordered and paid for 1 month in advance was not available and no one contacted me to inform me of this. So I had a devastated 3 yr old with no birthday balloons. The party planner was very nice but slow. (Once again I paid for 2 hours which was monopolized by waiting on her ) There were teenagers in the facility that were sneaking off to the ladies' room to smoke which reeked of stale cigarettes. The manager on duty was very nice and customer oriented but I was profoundly shocked that the young lady at the ticket counter needed a calculator to add 6000 and 500đ˛ (Way to go JCPS system) I was pleased to see employees walking around regularly cleaning and disinfecting all the machines. I will be returning mainly because this is the only Chuck E Cheese within an hour drive of my house and my child loves to be able to run around like an animal. But if I had another option I certainly would...
Read moreGreat place to take your kids, especially when the weather is bad. There are plenty of games for kids young and old (including adults) to keep them happy. The only reservation is if it's crowded, there is always ample table seating to sit down or eat, but in my humble opinion the amount of games there isn't enough for all the seating. Basically, it can and does get a bit crowded in the games area. I like the play area for toddlers, but I wish they had a few more slides and the like for kids to climb on.
I have to add that I was impressed with the pizza. I would have thought they would only have frozen and microwave pizza, but it's fresh and it was pretty good. They obviously have an ample selection drinks for adults and children. The prizes require a lot of tickets i.e. a lot of money and aren't that impressive but for me and my children that's not really the point, they just like playing the games not necessarily winning tickets. They're also a tad on the young side, so it may be different for kids who are a little older). lastly, the prices of the games are pretty reasonable but I did find the food to be a little more expensive than I expected, but again the pizza was good so I don't really have that many complaints...
