Trying to get my phone repaired at this location was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
I called ahead to make sure they had the parts necessary to work on my phone. I was told they did, so I dropped it off early that afternoon. Was told it would take an extra 24-48 hours due to covid. No big deal. There's a pandemic y'all and I'm very understanding. I touched base with the store several business days later to ask how things were going, and the rep told me they'd get to my phone first thing in the morning when their samsung repair tech would be in. Cool. Turns out that was a lie though, and when I called in two days later I was told the exact same story. At this point I was getting annoyed, but I'd give them time. A few more days passed and I called a third time. Got ahold of a different rep who told me that although they had parts in stock, they were "reserved" for Asurion customers. That would've been nice to know at the outset, especially from a company that use to pride itself on doing SAME DAY repairs!
More than two weeks after initially dropping off my phone I was told that they were unable to repair my phone and that I would have to contact the manufacturer (Samsung). The issue they mentioned wasn't actually that complicated though and any company that is an "authorized Samsung service provider" should have been able to replace the charging port and then replace the screen.
I'm more upset at the rep who kept giving me the run around (I see other reviewers negatively mentioning him) than the actual tech who attempted to repair my phone (he was at least friendly and apologetic).
All in all, I don't plan on giving this company - and especially this store - any future business and will recommend my friends avoid them as well. I suggest you do the same. You're better off mailing your device in to a manufacturer who will have the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey did awesome work with my phone. I had already been to AT&T, Apple, then back to a different AT&T store that day. I went to one AT&T store right after they opened that morning and they sent me to Apple. Apple couldāve fixed my iPhone, but for no less that $329 since it was out of warranty, so they helped me check my AT&T account to see if I had coverage through them. I did, so they sent me to a better AT&T store. At that one, they helped me file my claim while I was in store. Upon completion, UbreakIfix was the store covered by the insurance so I went here. They were very friendly and appreciative of the info and phone settings that had been passed on to me or already set by Apple and AT&T. That was nice to see too. For the actual repair, they were done with it super quick. I went home to let my dogs out and eat lunch while they were fixing it and drove back after and my phone was already fixed. They used original Apple parts and you canāt ever tell anything was wrong. The best part was that I didnāt pay a dime out of pocket to them. They processed it through my claim with AT&T which allowed the $29 deductible fee to just be added on to my next AT&T billing cycle. Very relieving for me because all of this was very unexpected and I didnāt have any extra funds that day. Itās a good and efficient system, which seems like a rare thing to be able to say these days. I very much appreciate these folks and would absolutely recommend them to anyone else having tech issues. Iām sure Iāll need them again at some point and I wonāt hesitate to make them my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do NOT recommend uBreakiFix. I brought my daughter's Nintendo 3DS in on Feb 11th to replace the lower touchscreen after it had been dropped. The device was in working order (other than the cracked screen), and they assured me it could be fixed. They did not have the part, however, and said it would take a week to get it. A week later I was informed they ordered the wrong part and it would be another week to get the right one in. I recieved a text a month later (March 10th) that the repairs were finally complete. When I went to pick it up a couple of days after, it did not turn on and they said it needed to charged, having me leave it overnight as I could not wait at the time. I returned the next day, and it would still not turn on. They informed me the device would hold a charge, but the screen was no longer working and it could not be repaired. The representative said he would get with his manager to see if anything else could be done for the inconvenience, but we never heard back, even after trying to contact him. My daughter saved a long time to get that 3DS, was told it was repairable, and we were basically told "sorry we bricked it...best of luck". In all, estimated repair time was exaggerated, there were issues ordering the correct parts, communication was extremely lacking, and they bricked it in the end with no accountability. I'd give zero stars if were an option...save your money/time and find a more reputable establishment for...
