I purchased 12 cookie dough cupcakes for my son's birthday. The website shows the cupcakes have a cookie on the top of it. I picked the cupcakes up, and after taking them to the car I looked at them and noticed there was no cookie on the cupcakes. I took them back to the store and requested my cookie for each cupcake. I was then told they ran out of cookie dough for the cookies. After I stated that this was not acceptable the manager came out and said that they ran out of cookie dough for the cookies, and that this type of thing happens in a bakery all the time. First of all, I should have been told the cookies were missing from the cupcakes when I picked them up. Second, it should not be acceptable for a bakery to run out of ingredients for desserts that are advertised on their website. The manager's attitude was very unprofessional, with a " so what, it is what it is " approach. I was told that this was a privately owned store, so they did not have to comply with what was on their website. She begrudgingly offered a 10% discount, and then went to the back and stated negative comments reflected towards me with her staff. This definitely left a bad taste in my mouth about this establishment. I just read reviews, and saw that this was an issue that another customer had as well. They really need to get it together at...

The cupcakes are good, and creative in taste/concept. They are a little pricey, I mean.. for the most part, its just a cupcake - $14 for 4! They need to add little more decadence when it comes to some things, like macerate the blueberries a little for the Blueberry Bash cupcake... it's dry as all get out, and had two blueberries in it. Might as well have been just a yellow cupcake, and it didn't have any blueberries on top! The Cookie and Cream Oreo cupcake, was delish. The Lemon Ice Box did not have the graham crust, the lemon or the little cookie on the top.,... and it could of use a daaash more lemon for that "pop" lemon cakes should have! And... finally, the red velvet. Decent, a little dry though.

Oh... and today's (4.7.4021) representative that was working there (Hurstbourne)... was total trash. Just attitude for no dang on reason. I did submit a complaint to the store, they were VERY timely with their response, and attempt to reconcile the issue/make the customer happy. This makes me happy. I don't remember the cupcakes tasting like this... I wonder if it's just the baker for the day....? I'll go back,...

Great customer service! Very nice and informative. This is the second time we have went in the last couple of weeks. The cupcake I had was Tigertails and it was good, not great just good. Something I can make at home and didn’t feel I should pay what was charged. I have always been a fan of this chain because I hate cupcakes but love icing. Their cupcakes pre-Covid had always been decadent and topped with plenty of icing. Enough where my family got cupcakes and I got icing. Now I’m disappointed because the prices have not changed but the quality and amount definitely has changed. I went back because I thought give them another shot maybe just the cupcake I picked. Nope, not the cupcake, I know that the business is probably conservative with the ingredients that are being used but the customers that the company has had for years and years know very well what to expect and when it’s not delivered we do notice. I did see that the location may have new management so we’ll try back at a later time. Love the brand very much....

My fiancé took me here to try Gigi’s Cupcakes for the first time, since cupcakes are my weakness. I limited myself to just one, but I now know that I won’t be able to when we return! I got a Lemon Blueberry cupcake, and it was DIVINE! The cake was moist, the icing was fluffy, and the fruit flavours were super prominent. I was wowed after the first bite! There were little bits of sugar on top of the blueberry icing that added the perfect crunch. The cupcake also came in a cute green decorative box that was designed to look like a present. I definitely recommend Gigi’s cupcakes. My only regret is that I didn’t sample several at a time! We will be back soon to get more, and I have my eyes on the Scarlet’s Red Velvet cupcake, Cherry Cheesecake and Chocolate Salted Caramel cupcake!

Okay, so Gigi's is a love it or hate it type of place. They make huge decadent cupcakes that have as much (or more) icing as they do cake. They are a chain and to my knowledge they all have the same 15-20 varieties, plus 1-2 seasonal varieties that rotate. My favorites are Wedding (white cake, white icing) and Midnight (chocolate cake, icing and chips). My husband's are the KY Bourbon Cake and Oreo. My kids like the funfetti, Peanut butter cup, and Caramel Pretzel. They're all very pretty and make great edible gifts. So about the love-hate thing. Gigi's cupcakes are an indulgent treat, and not something you'd want all the time. They get a lot of criticism about being so overly indulgent, but that's kind of their thing.
