I came in at 8 with my family to have some pizza and they took our drink order and told us to sit down. At the same time we showed up another family showed up and they took their order and they got their drinks and pizza without an issue. My family and I patiently sat at the table waiting for our drinks to arrive and nothing came. Another family showed up later and they took their order of pizza and drinks. We continued to wait for our drinks in the meantime. We had no service just a couple of “we’ll be right with you” which I had no problem with. What really set me off was that after About 30 minutes went by the waitress shows up to tell us that we probably won’t get a chance to eat inside since it’s now 8:30 and they close the lobby at 9. I have to say this was a horrible experience. Constantly making me and my family believe our order was going to be taken just to be told half an hour later they can’t accommodate my family’s order. Can’t even bring our drinks. An absolute waste of time. If you plan on taking your family there and it’s around 8, don’t. Find another establishment who doesn’t make their customers feel like a burden. Your family could be treated this way too. I felt we were basically booted out of the establishment while every other family that showed up at the time we did or after was...
Read moreThe pizza was decent but I wouldn’t say it’s anything to call home about. Why really brought this score down was the service. When I say the service was bad I don’t mean that they were rude, but nonexistent. I walked in and the waitress grabbed my drink and told me I could sit wherever. After I sat down I did not see her again. Not to fill my water, not to ask how the food was, and defiant not to take an order. I assumed that she just thought I wanted the buffet. So 10 minutes went by and still no waitress came by with a menu so I decided buffet it is. The buffet was well kept up with the cook always making sure there was plenty of food but i wouldn’t bring a picky eater here because most of the pizzas were specialty pizzas with a lot of different ingredients. Since we’re on the topic of the buffet, let’s talk about that. I have no idea how this “buffet” worked! Usually buffet is all you can eat but here I got charged by the plate! So I stopped at one plate and decided to go down the road to CiCi’s and get a hot and ready pizza because I was still hungry. Overall the pizza was average at best, I saw the waitress one time, and the atmosphere was “meh”. I will maybe come back when there isn’t a buffet but only to see what’s...
Read moreKen’s has always had a good atmosphere clean restaurant, decent prices, and friendly staff with great if not spaceGood pizza but after arriving 30 minutes prior to their lunch buffet closing and five hungry kids in tow… They refused to make any more pizzas than were what was already out on the buffet bar. No garlic bread no cinnamon sticks no pasta left worth mentioning. We ate all of the pepperoni and all of hamburger the two types of pizzas that kids like to eat and all that was left or pizzas with vegetables on them. So instead of replacing them with Pizza that the kids could/would eat they just left what was their there and we left still hungry- and paid full price. In my opinion if you’re going to say that the buffet is from 11 to 2 just for an example, then you should restock, maintain, and keep the buffet going at 2 o’clock just as you did at 11...
