WOW!
The pizza? Absolute worst experience I have ever had ordering a simple one topping pizza. I have never been to a Dominos before moving to Hyde Park (or any pizza chain) and had so many badly made, mediocre pizzas. I have never returned a pizza in my life, I am not hard to please.
The customer service? Unprofessional and aggressive when you initiate a return or when the quality is questioned. They threaten. They yell. They are combative. They argued when I brought the pizza, insisting they always make dark, nearly burnt pizzas (I should have pictured it).
And yet, as the picture below shows, they also undercook it. Does that look dark? They cook with inconsistent temperatures and times and refused to make it any other way.
Instead of a new pizza, I asked for a refund after the manager threatened to make me trouble myself to call corporate for the refund when I said the last pizza I brought looked like the image below.
I have been here three times and each experience is as follows. Here’s a summary of the end result:
It's disappointing to experience issues with pizza when I went my entire life never having issues with popular chain pizza places, until I moved to Hyde Park.
Below is an example of their craftsmanship.
The best you can expect is the standard of mediocrity. The worst, is something like what you see below. With each bite you take, you get to experience raw dough.
I encourage all with bad experiences to call corporate and hold this staff accountable. Customers should do more to help future customers. The best reviews are from more than one year ago. Some of the worst reviews are from...
Read moreI felt like I was on the other end of a prank call. The service was horrible. My estimated delivery time was 36 minutes and my food came over an hour late. The food sat in "quality check" (which is code for sitting on the hot rack) for 20/30 minutes until it finally got out to a driver. The driver was delivering multiple runs with my order and took about 40 minutes, so after ordering my food at 10-something pm and getting an estimated delivery time of 36 minutes, I finally got my food at 11:52 pm. ALMOST 12 AM!!!! And of course, my food was cold by that point!!!! I called the store to see what could be done and had one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had. I was hung up, talked down to, cut off constantly, etc. I felt like in coming to voice my concern about this unsatisfactory service that I received, that I was being treated as annoying and bothersome, which a customer should never feel. The person I was speaking to seemed to be a male with a Latin-American accent. He claimed to be the manager, but would not tell me his name. If he really is a manager, I have no clue how this man has made it this far with his awful customer service skill, and complete disrespect that he treated me with. When I told him about my order, for example, he told me that maybe instead of complaining to him about the order, I should go and work as a delivery driver, so he can be faster and meet service standards/times. I am appalled by this egregious behavior. It was completely unprofessional. I hope there is disciplinary action for this man!!! I didn't even get a chance to tell him about my pasta order being incorrect before he refused to refund or do anything about the experience, and hung up on me. I would leave zero...
Read moreI was sent clean off by being referred to come grab Pizza for the children. My favorite places are Giordano’s & Italian Fiesta so you can’t pay me to eat any other Pizza because what’s better than the best? I thought it was so cool they had an App I could order from, I assumed my food would be done, I could walk in, grab & go. Once I entered the establishment i remembered seeing at least 4 sets of eyes look @ me & not one greeted me. I didn’t take it personal, I figured when I got closer to the counter they would come & approach me, but I realize about 5 minutes later they were purposely ignoring me because I was on my cellphone. I’m assuming that’s a policy they created “no phone, no service”, so it should be posted. Additional to, I never ended my conversation because I was never acknowledge so when the guy who was old enough to be my father tried to be sarcastic like “you ready to order now” (I guess they didn’t know I had patience lol because I was so calm waiting for them”, I had to let him know he was way too old to not have customer service & should have led by example, a simple, “Ma’am I would love to assist you once you’re off the call” would have been a nice gesture. Then when I was presented with my order; the young lady/man (I’m not sure what she identify as so I don’t wanna be offensive, came and set my food on the counter never thanked me for being a customer and left it at that. I couldn’t help but laugh because only in OUR communities do you get mistreated like that, just for me to have spent $40 and the food was trash! the Buffalo Wings were disgusting because they were gummy, & the Pizza lacked flavor. So IF you just have dominoes, the one in Hyde Park is definitely not the...
