TL;DR I waited here for 20 minutes in the drive through and never got any food.
I got in the drive through at 6:07. The girl told me to wait a minute and she would take my order. About 3 minutes later I said "Hello?" Someone different said "Hey, we are short staffed, we will be with you shortly". I said "okay.". 7 more minutes later I start saying "Hello? hello?". No one responds. I cant decide if I should wait or leave. I was supposed to be grabbing a quick dinner for my husband before he left for work. I decide, hey, maybe they forgot about me, I'll just pull up to the window. I can't back out because there are cars behind me. I pull forward around the corner and find 2 other cars in front of me waiting for their food. I wait another 10 minutes while these two cars are served. The guy behind me pulls forward, and I question whether he has ordered or not. Get up to the window. The kid working tells me a total. I say "I never got to order". He pulls a girl over to the window who says she accidentally forgot about me. I say "well can i just order here real quick?" She says "no, there are orders in front of you now. We are too short staffed. Sorry.". I leave. As I am leaving, I see a line of cars through the Michael's parking lot all waiting for BK. I call once and no one answers. I call again and ask for a manager, and speak to Ben. I tell Ben what happened to me. He says " that sucks. Sorry." I tell him they have a line of cars waiting, and that they should let those people know they aren't able to serve them. Ben says "Sorry" and his cell phone goes off. I say "well. Thanks." And he hangs up.
We've been going to this location for years, but I wont ever go back. That was awful service. 20 minutes stuck in a drive thru and never...
Read moreI’m going to be super honest and tell you that this review has nothing to do with the food. The food is fine and your usual Burger King food, but the reason I am writing this is because the SERVICE at this little fast-food place is quite frankly some of the best in this entire town.
It’s not easy to be cheery, friendly, and kind at 7am on a Friday morning, but by god, these folks do it! (Also without being creepy and forcibly friendly.) Somehow the folks at the place manage to be little angels in disguise on some of your worst days. (They literally gave me a paper crown on one of my worst days, and damn, if it didn’t make me feel better!)
I cannot tell you how many times I was dreading going to work and I was feeling low, but my day was made better by someone at this Burger King just being KIND. There is a LOT much more expensive and ‘fine-dining’ restaurants could learn from the folks that work there, or maybe just people in general. They are genuinely kind and seem to be happy to help you and see you when you arrive. Maybe that is the best take out to get from this branch, the power of kindness and the joy in interacting with happy people. Our world seems to be getting harder and more disconnected every day, so to find a random place that serves joy with a breakfast sandwich is pretty dang amazing.
There are more than a few of their employees who I have interacted with, and every single one of them has been so much nicer than one could ever expect of someone in fast food to be at 7am.
So, I hope the big managers in the Burger King sky will take note of my little review, and well if not, I hope that you’ll swing by and get a little something from them. I truly hope they’ll make your day better just like...
Read moreFelt hurried through the drive "threw". All the fast food places are using an app promo system that requires codes to earn, codes to redeem and order and codes to make your way through the dang line. So my app or my phone rather has 5g but it must not know what that was supposed to mean, because it's slower than 3g I'm certain. That being said I paid 22.00 for two meals and they didn't even come with a soda...... You might find yourself fumbling with your phone to get the code off your app, then translating it over the speaker correctly and totally miss the best deals that are served with a soda. I later found that I could have got the same 2 meals with a soda for almost half the price..... As much as I like a perfectly timed Whopper with cheese hold the pickle, I was disappointed in the pull away result. P.s. My wife requires 3 Ranch every time 3 Ranch packets. Every time they either don't or won't put it in the bag or maybe when I say "3 Ranch packets" it sounds like "can i get 3 Rain Jackets, please?" So it always requires a second loop through that drive thru experience or I've gotta go around to the front get out and go in and get the Ranch. What's happened at some places I've got to then pay .50 a piece for the 3 RainJackets as well, as if 22.00 for a couple of burgers and fries isn't enough to throw in some complimentary condiments and dang "SODA"........ I'm not complaining really I'm only portraying the repeat events and Yes Mr. The King I will be back, rest assured, because I Love the Cha'king Chicken Sandwich hold that pickle with the sweet southerner sauce add extra tomatoes..........
