A friend of mine suggested that I try this place. He told me they had some pretty outstanding food and he was right. But it was not what I expected. The burger that I had was a Burger Belly named after the establishment itself, known as their signature Burger. The burger patties were nothing special. the pre-cut Frozen Patty's that you can easily buy in bulk at Costco. They had no seasoning or special treatment but that is not to say the burger was bad. On the contrary, the burger was delicious. That's attributed to the bun which wasn't a bun at all but rather sourdough toast, the chosen toppings to come on the burger which included grilled onion which I love on my burgers and a homemade barbecue sauce that is made there in the shop. It really was quite good. I didn't order a combo because I wanted water with my meal and they offer water there on the counter but I did order some fried zucchini. They're fried zucchini was not fried slices of zucchini but rather elongated portions of zucchini fried in beer batter, resembling insanely delicious zucchini fries. Then I was pleasantly surprised bye their water which was cucumber water. Water and a large jar that had slices of cucumber in it causing the water to have a very refreshing taste. It's a small little Burger Shop that really gives you a solid and tasty meal. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hamburger patties were so obviously frozen patties that are sold at any grocery store and had not been treated in any way shape or form as far as seasoning. Beyond that, it's an...
Read moreEveryone that rated this as a good burger joint has no idea whatsoever what good food tastes like... I took about two bites of my burger before I decided I was done with that. The texture of the burger patty itself was like soft rubber I picked up no hints of the flavor of beef in there whatsoever it was very bland and tasteless. The french fries were very bland as well they reminded me of a basic non salted steak fry I probably ate about four or five of them before I decided that I was good on that as well. I ordered a dr. Pepper my favorite soda what I was tasting in my cup didn't resemble dr. Pepper it had a very low carbonation just a hint of sweetness to it but no resemblance of the taste of dr. Pepper. For the same price I could have eaten that my favorite burger joint in Boise Five Guys. My sister was also with me she took about four bites of her burger and eat about six fries she didn't like her soda either we left and went to get some food. My word of advice up the quality of your food big time and sell it for more 💰. people would rather spend more money and eat something they will still be thinking about...
Read moreI don’t tend to leave bad reviews. I’d rather put my energy into promoting things I love than denigrating businesses, especially local businesses. But my lunch experience today was almost comically bad. The main issue was the staff—the woman working the counter was messing up orders/delivering the wrong food, and when the cook tried correcting her she was argumentative with him. It was like listening to parents who are nearing divorce fight. The food was fine—tiny portions for the price, but the fried food was perfectly crispy and not oily, and I didn’t struggle to eat it—but between paying a two dollar upcharge for a standard Boca Burger (extreme even for common vegetarian upcharges) and that awkward social scene (legitimately bad enough I almost asked to cancel and refund my order)—this is the rare time that, if you don’t have the option to leave the neighborhood, I’d tell you to just go to the Burger King next door and skip...
