Just had a horrible experience with a delivery order. Ordered pizza at 6:35. Was told 45 minutes for delivery. Waited 1:15 and called to find out what was going on. Was told the driver was on his way (no apology, the girl on the phone didn’t seem too concerned). Waited another 25 minutes (I live a mile from the location) and called again. Was again told the driver was on his way. Finally got pizza 1:45 after I ordered. I would have been annoyed but fine here. Except the breadsticks weren’t cooked. And the pizza was cold. And the drinks were wrong. Called again to speak to the manager to ask for a refund. Was put on hold and another employee that was not the manager picked up. I asked if she was the manager and she ignored the question and asked what I wanted. I again requested the manager and was told “I’m as close to the manager as you are going to get, he is too busy to talk to you”. Ended up driving down there to bring back all the cold, uncooked and incorrect food and request a refund in person. Walked into a dead store with six employees milling around. Lucky for me, the manager was able to pull away for a second! I was refunded my money less the tip I gave the delivery driver. Got a cursory sorry and he explained that they should have been quoting an 1:00 to 1:15 for delivery. I guess that would have made the cold food only 30 minutes late. Which objectively would have been better than an hour late. No offer to make the food correctly, or cook it to an edible level. Didn’t even throw out some free token breadsticks on the next order. I know people can be busy, but I take exception to the fact that they couldn’t be bothered.
Update: sent my phone number through the contact section on your website. I was thanked for my feedback automatically. Nobody followed up...
Read moreAfter four days in bed from food poisoning from your salad bar I figured it was about time I took the time to say something... I debated because I understand that the bacteria that made me so violently ill, could have come from another source in your supply chain. That being said... I witnessed one of your staff members handle the raw ready to eat food in your salad bar with no gloves. We personally were asked to do so upon ordering. Which we were happy to comply with such safety requests. Now I'm wondering what requirements you are asking from your staff here at this location? We loved, or maybe still love, your Broadway location... But now I have to think more about the consequences of trusting others to handle my food. I mean... Are they even trained in food safety and health? Require them to take the Serv Safe Class and pass the tests then maybe I'll reconsider giving you our hard earned cash. BTW this location seemed kinda put out to take our money.. I say you might just need to revamp your entire staff and take extra precautions in handling food.. Had I ended up in the ER you would be paying that bill. But rather than the added hassle, I'll save myself, and pay Primary Care myself... Unless of course any symptoms resume dramatically and I do end up in the ER or a future visit which I highly doubt at this point, which is sad, because we loved your place on Broadway. Hope you figure it out and resolve this issue before someone else gets really sick like me, or worse. Another note... My husband says I'm not angry enough at you. You don't see my green. & that's...
Read moreEnough is enough. Every time I order from here we get the same thing. What I get is not relevant to this review, but what my wife gets is. She gets the Cascade chicken, which comes with fresh tomatoes on top. She has a tomato allergy. She can eat them if they are baked, but not fresh, so I ask them to please bake the tomatoes. The first 2 times...fresh tomatoes. Really? We finally decided just to order from now on with asking for no tomatoes at all, hoping that will solve this problem. It didn't. Last night was the 4th time in a row that I have ordered it with no tomatoes, but every time, guess what? Tomatoes everywhere. While I was waiting in line, I overheard two employees talking. The one guy said "I think I know what tomorrow's mandatory meeting is about." "What's that?" the other guy asked. Then the first guy said "I think they want us to starting stepping it up." I am going to have to agree with management on this one. However, how can the management not be responsible? This is a simple training issue. Read the tickets! Read them twice if you have to! I pick up my own pizza and the people at the register expect tips. You can't even get my order correct. Ever! I like Idaho Pizza Company very much, but I may have to start driving farther to go to a different location so I can receive what I ordered. And now I have to waste my time writing this review. A restaurant that can't take food allergies seriously should not be...
