Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Idaho

Nope... not a fan. It was A-OK, I will give them that. The design is very cool, the men's bathroom has lots of different ways to urinate (see my photos) which... I mean... was educational and humorous, the food was good, but the customer service at this location is certainly lacking.

If you think this is a Subway like- it's really not. The sandwiches are made as the menu says, you don't go down a line and add things. Some people like this, some don't. It's somewhat of a hassle to say no pickle, lettuce, add mustard, ranch, anchovies, brussel sprouts (tots kidding)-- etc.!

I got an "unwich" which is a sandwich no bun basically and it was the same cost and rather expensive for the small amount of meat on it. But like I said, it was A-ok. It was the customer service that really killed it for me.

The napkins are behind the counter and since I wasn't given any, I had to ask for some. I was literally ignored, then when I raised my voice and said I was going to take some I was told, "you're good man" with no eye contact (really?!? Jimmy-- put nakins on the table, the wiches can get messy). Anyway, I get it, they're kids-- but it really killed...

What happened to being “freaky fast”? It took 20 minutes to get 3 sandwiches. I was waiting at the register to buy chips & no one was helping me. One employee asked another employee to ring me up & she rudely said “in a minute” & walked off. The lack of customer service & bad attitudes from the staff was disappointing. I tried one of the new Mediterranean wraps. It was so oily, I could barely eat it. Will not return to this location.

Update: I gave this location another chance because my kids & I were hungry & in a hurry & didn’t want something unhealthy. We placed an online order & arrived about 12 minutes later. There was no one in the store & no one in the drive thru. The girl asked if I placed an online order & I told her that I did. She told me that she hadn’t started it yet, but that she “saved bread” for my order. I waited for 15 minutes while she slowly, with zero sense of urgency made my sandwiches, while chatting with her coworker. It was a very annoying experience. My sandwich was made incorrectly & was drenched with mayo. So gross. Done with this place. Their service...

I love Jimmy John's. It's no secret. I don't even try to hide it. Every time someone asks where I want to eat, it's the only place I'll suggest. My friends and family don't even ask me anymore. All of the local Jimmy John's employees know my order and car by heart- a veggie sandwich with extra pickles. In my hometown, they know I want LOTS of pickles. When I go out of town and want to eat my favorite sandwich, I always have to ask for "a veggie sandwich with extra, extra, extra, EXTRA pickles. We came through the drive thru of this specific JJ location, and I ordered my sandwich, with extra extra extra extra pickles. The guy working the window was so kind and funny, and went right along with it. And he got me those pickles. THANK YOU!!! I will forever recommend Jimmy John's to whoever asks, not only because of their fantastic sandwiches, but because of this particular employee.
