I have gone to this McDonald many times in the past and always had a really good experience. Today me and my friend went to this McDonalds for breakfast at 4:30 a.m.and we had the worst experience ever. When we ordered at drive thru the employee was very unfriendly, her voice tone was angry and we felt not welcome. When we said we needed a minute to look at the menu she said o.k. then when my friend started to order she said sarcastically "oh you decided to order". As we ordered she seemed to purposely get what we asked for wrong, had a grumpy tone and we felt rushed. When we paid for the food her attitude was no different. I get that grave yard shift workers most likely have a lot of cleaning to get done and don't want to be interrupted by customers but if customers are not welcome the restaurant shoud be closed . After we got our food we parked in this McDonald's parking lot. The food was o.k. but my friends order had a wrong item. He was going to just let it slide but the biscuit was so dry we decided to go back thru the drive thru to get the correct item. When we previously ordered we were not offered a receipt and did not get one so we did not know how we were charged. When we tried to explain the situation at the drive thru speaker the employee acted like she didn't know what we were saying then said "drive foward". When we got to the widow she appeared angry and as we started to try to ask for a exchange, she rudely interrupted by saying "what do you want a Mcgriddle?" My friend tried to tell her and show her the food and she yelled I don't want that and I can't take that back especially since you started eating it. She was very rude and said "a Mcgriddle is that what you want? " My friend told her yes and what kind and started to explain we didnt know what we were charged for which she ignored him and shut the window and got the mcgriddle. She angerly open the window and as she gave my friend his mcgriddle the food he had gotten in error fell onto the ground. The employee instantly started yelling at us repeated to never come back to this restaurant. I have never in my life experienced this kind of rude treatment from any place else. We were both polite and this employee had no reason to be rude and hostile just because we wanted to order breakfast. I got the idea customers were not welcome by this employees tone of voice and attitude. We both left feeling bad and this ruined our breakfast. I was really shocked by this treatment when I have had great service at this location every other time I...
Read moreI’m not the type of person who writes negative reviews of a restaurant, especially one that is an established franchise like McDonald’s. Because it seems kind of pointless. But the way I was just treated needs to be heard and documented. I started by ordering through door dash, it was about 3:30 am. I was unaware they made a switch to just breakfast at 4am, and had I known that, I wouldn’t have ordered from their dinner menu, because I come from food service myself and I understand the etiquette. I get a text from my delivery driver at around 3:55, saying that McDonald’s is “out,” of the food. I highly doubt they were out of hamburgers, but once I realized why they were truly not making my food, I complied. All of this would have ended without issue if I was refunded at this point. But I couldn’t cancel the order myself, because it was going to charge me, and the driver was busy doing other deliveries. So I called the store. I gave the woman my name, told her my order and just asked if she could cancel the order from her end so I wouldn’t be charged for food I wasn’t going to receive. What got weird after this is the voice on the other end, no longer a female, just keep saying “hello? HELLO?” To which I’m responding hello until the phone hangs up. I call back and the greeting is “thank you for calling Burger King, how can I help you?” At this point I’m mad because I know the staff is making fun of me, which is just terrible to do to a customer. And I’m like “this is McDonald’s, not Burger King, I’m not stupid.” The woman (first person I talked to) was like “oh okay.” Just being rude and smart* for no reason. I then asked, genuinely curious, why she wouldn’t just help me, I called with a reasonable request and I never once was rude. She responded “we thought you were a prank caller.” I asked for her name and she said “John.” At this point I was done, I didn’t want to push this any further, I just wanted my refund. I did get my refund but that was besides the point now. Know that I will be following up on this as soon as your manager comes in at 9 am, which is what I was told by “John.” For all I know there was a manager there and she just didn’t want to get in trouble. Incident happened around 4 am at McDonald’s Boise Fairview location, the 24 hour one. Any managers who work at this store and can see who was on shift on 3/24 at this time and the behavior I described matches a member of your staff, please take...
Read moreLow key over this McDonald’s, I like their Macfrappes so I tend to use the punch card thing on the app. They used to tell me that if I used a coupon like $1 a large fry then I am not able to get a punch for my drink purchase. But the other McDonald’s on ustick and eagle informed me that you are indeed able to and they did it for me. They also allow me to use a coupon and redeem my punchcard, they just have to put it on two separate transactions. But the other mcondalds, the one I am reviewing always says you can’t use two coupons but really, one isn’t a coupon, it’s a punch card. If I was trying to use two coupons it wouldn’t let me generate that second QR code that they have to scan. But since In fact they are combinable it does allow the generation of the second QR code for the punch card. They just need to put it on two transactions. But the thing that makes me THE MOST UPSET is that they always have me generate the QR code for the free frappe then scan it and then proceed to tell me I can’t use it, but once you generate the code the punch card for the free drink DISAPPEARS so even if you didn’t actually get a free frappe from buying 5 other ones, it is still redeemed like you did. So what is the point of the punch card if I’m always loosing my free drinks anyways? I tend to try not to go to this McDonald’s because the employees are not trained on the app what so ever, they don’t know the rules of it all they know is to scan it and then say the new total price. But unfortunately this one is closer to my house, who knew that In order to get quality service, you have to waste more money to go out of your way to go to a McDonald’s with people who know what...
