WONDERFUL WINGS YUCKY SAUCES
I love me some KFC and this joint definitely knows how to make a perfectly crispy moist chicken wing. It’s too bad their sauces are inedible.
We got the Mix & Match #3 with 18 wings and 9 boneless tenders as takeout so we could watch the football game at our vacation rental. Since it was takeout, we got the sauces on the side. You get a HUGE amount of chicken for $60 and a chance to try to find at least one of their sauces that is actually good. Order was ready in 20 minutes by phone on a busy Saturday.
The boneless wings are nothing special. My kids are mentally ill and don’t like bones so we tried em out. The fry on them was not crispy and chicken was a wee bit dry. They still ate them all like the little monsters they are and thought the gal i sauce was “ok.”
The three sauces we tried were the soy garlic, galbi, and K sauce. I’m not kidding when I say all three sucked. I’ve never been happier to have ordered wings fry, as they would’ve been inedible with the sweet sauces on them. Even the K Sauce (supposedly spicy) was disgustingly sweet and didn’t even register a 3 on the spice Richter scale.
We loved the pickled radish and threw away the corn salad.
Parking lot can be a nightmare. Even in October. The people parking watch game is strong here, though, so that’s a plus. Hahaha.

I'm always on the lookout for chicken spots, so when I saw this place on the map, I knew I had to try. What an unexpected surprise to find top quality Korean fried chicken in Incline Village!
I ordered a 3 piece tenders with the Angel Kick sauce. They told me the wait would be 10-15 minutes, a good sign knew they were making it fresh to order. They also asked if I wanted gloves, which I thought was a nice added touch.
The tenders came out piping hot, tossed in sauce, and served with a side of ranch. I loved that the breading was thin, yet very crispy--very unique! The chicken itself was moist and juicy. The Angel Kick sauce had a decent heat (I would avoid if you are spice-sensitive). The gloves made it feel like I was in my own little mukbang.
The restaurant is tucked inside the atrium of a building, and you can enter from both sides. Don't be thrown off if the "open" sign is unlit, it's for another restaurant in the space. The seating area is small and the kpop videos in the background...
Read moreWe found Wing's Korean Chicken through Yelp. We had a long day and wanted to stay in for dinner. This was less than 10 minutes from my hotel and Korean fried chicken to-go sounds good. It's a small store front with one person working and a couple of tables. It's definitely a order to go kind of place.
We went back and forth on the Large Combo (2 flavor, 8 wings, fries, radish pickle or corn salad and 1 dip) or Double Meal Combo (2 flavor, 12 wings, large fries, radish pickle, corn salad and 2 dips). Being greedy, we got the Double and it was too much food for two people. The chicken wings are huge, but could have been crispier! The seasoning was great and can't go wrong with soy garlic. I up the fries and got the honey butter fries. It was soggy and I didn't like the taste. The corn salad was good and wish we had gotten the larger size or two of them. The 3.25 oz. container is not enough for two people. The radish is good to clean your palette at the end.
Overall it was a good...
