Iâve visited this location three times since it opened, hoping each visit would be better than the lastâbut unfortunately, that hasn't been the case.
First visit: I waited in line for about 25 minutes, and several employees had noticeable attitudes, making the experience unpleasant.
Second visit: Again, a 25-minute wait, only to be told they were out of cheese. The cook was preparing the honey chipotle chicken but realized it was undercooked and had to re-cook it. To avoid the risk, my family opted for regular chicken instead.
Third visit (third times a charm, right? ): I went alone and saw only one person ahead of me. I thought it would be quickâwrong! The customer in front of me had four orders, and the employees took forever making them. One employee even criticized the other's taco preparation in front of customers. Then, the cashier seemed confused and had issues with the lady I'm front of me. When it was my turn, I scanned my Chipotle app and redeemed a free entrĂ©e. My side showed $0 due, but the cashier insisted it was $10.59. After rescanning and some button-pressing, she called the managerâwhile "whispering" but complaining about her job in front of customers telling the manager she was about to "blow her top". The manager fixed it, confirming I owed nothing. The cashier ended with a dismissive âYOU'RE GOOD!â without a single apology and a bad attitude throughout.
Iâm not sure whoâs training the staff here, but this location has consistently underdelivered. Iâll stick to the other Chipotle in Independence...
Read moreI normally only do reviews for great experiences however, I hope someone in management sees this. We came in for dinner. The dining area was a wreck. There were 8 viable employees, 6 of them were standing around talking, the one who made our food was rude and one running the register. We couldnât find a clean table to eat at. As we were eating dinner, I pointed a few things out to my son mentioning work ethic and things their shift leader should be directing them to do as he will soon be entering the workforce . I said, that girl right there has good work ethic. She smiled and greeted us nicely when we went to pay, then while everyone else was goofing off, she went to clean the lobby. While she was doing that, someone yelled her name and told her there was some one the register. She stopped what she was doing and went to help at the register while others were still standing around and then she went right back to cleaning and stocking the lobby. I made a point to go up and let her know I appreciated her hard work and that I love that she did not fall inline with the other employees just standing around. I asked her for her name- she said it is Miles and she appreciated that I noticed her. She also apologized for the messy lobby. I hope this location gets some good leadership and fixes...
Read moreWent here 3 times The grand opening was perfect 2nd time mobile order the chips were days old and inedible, meat burnt and dry, order wrong(2x meat and only 6 peices of chicken in burrito) not to mention 2 bones one in burrito one in the bowl Third time the food was good but they were out of a few different essentials for a burrito and said it's gonna be 10 minutes before any was ready( you don't wait until you are completely out of things to call back to the chefs) plus it wasn't even busy no one was in the restaurant.ordered 9$ large queso and chips and received less then a small side of queso (measured it in side ramakin) in large container and 15 chips. Rice had no lime and an extreme amount of cilantro. Staff was talking down upon an elderly lady who asked for napkins and complained because all 3 of the napkin containers were empty.
Definitely a hard pass and won't be returning.
They skimp on everything and try to argue with you when you call them out. Go anywhere else besides this one
Don't even get me started on the non...
