Anecdote Brewing Company — Restaurant in Indian Rocks Beach

Another great time at Anecdote Brewery. This time, we joined a full brewpub to watch the U.S. men's soccer team advance to the knockout stage of the 2022 World Cup, beating Iran 1-0 at Al Thumama Stadium on Tuesday. Talk about lots of fun, lots of people of all ages, good Brazilian food and great craft beer!

I had the order of three crust covered sausages (mini hotdogs) served with a nice mustard. My guy ordered the Picanha, which is a cut of beef first made popular in Brazil, and later adopted in Portugal. (In the United States, the cut is little known and often named top sirloin cap, rump cover, rump cap, or culotte.) French fries were served alongside. The food was being prepared yo order n the rear of the brewery and it came out quickly and hot.

We enjoyed an IRB IPA, On the Verge, and an Ale for ALS ($1 was donated to ALS for each Ale for ALS purchased). The Ale for ALS is a farmhouse IPA which was peppery, funky and tropical all at the same time.

First time visiting this brewery and I must say I've been to alot of breweries and this place made me feel like a regular, the staff were friendly and for a small batch brewery they definitely have something for everyone from IPA's to Sours and Ciders to everything in between. We didn't have any food as we had just ate and to our surprise they were having a music bingo night which I thought was pretty cool. So if your looking for a nice down home brewery feel but near the beach this is a great place to stop into. My hats off to the wait staff for being so friendly that is a plus in my book and if I'm ever in the area again I'm definitely coming...

We drove by this place so many times and never noticed it before, even though we live nearby. I would suggest better marketing to let people know you're around. We found it when Shiso Crispy did a pop up food truck there. It's great to have a place like that on Gulf Blvd, I don't think there's another Brewery nearby. It's simple and basic, but we found what we needed. My cider was really good, everyone else seemed to have liked their selections. I don't know if they have food on other days, I hope they do! Now that Shiso Crispy will be there permanently, we will be at that...
