Culver’s — Restaurant in Indiana

Michigan City, Indiana location...

Ok, so I feel like instead of reaching out to Culver's, it will be more beneficial to the review reading public to describe my rating here. Culver's is my go-to because I've never had a terrible experience up until this one. I'll start by saying we were traveling as a family of 7, and this location is out of state for us. So, first thing, we all had to use the restrooms. When walking in the floors were so sticky it stuck to our shoes and whatever it was we tracked it all around the store. And in my truck. When we get our food and get back on the road, we find we're missing all the chicken fingers for the kids. Go back in, no big deal, they gave us what was missing. So we're back on the road, and the fries were so-so, which was a bit disappointing, but it happens. The three of us who got burgers couldn't even finish them. The meat tasted like it was cooked in the most dirty environment, the buns were dry and breaking apart, and worst of all, everything was completely cold. The cheese was just a processed square, all cold and disgusting. I guess I never realized how gross the cheese is until I had the raw product. The other 2 burger orders were the same product. This experience was shocking because I used to brag that Culver's was good no matter where you...

On multiple occasions my order was taken correctly and verified from the ticket at pickup, however items ordered on the side were missing, and a few times there was no tartar sauce included with the fish. Most recently I placed an order today on 9.16.22 and I didn't receive pickles on the side and the fries were undercooked and cold.

When I called to inform the assistant manager of the issue nothing was offered to rectify the issue. I would have gladly returned for a replacement fry if one was offered but it wasn't, all she would do was offer a single apology. Dont get me wrong, an appology is great but it doesnt replace my hard earned money that had to be THROWN AWAY because the quality was so awful! The quality of the food has been degrading drastically over the past several months; for this reason I will not be returning to an establishment that won't ensure customer satisfaction; this includes a properly trained staff that adheres to processes, policies and procedures that any quality business should practice.

If you want something really good to eat, go to Rallys! At least there you get what you pay for each time!

Sad to say, but look at all of the other 1 star reviews made recently, it may open your eyes to where you want to patron, it...

We chose this stop coming back from city of East Chicago. It is not much of a detour from the highway, towards Elkhart city. The place was clean and quite a few patrons enjoying lunch! I was surprised to see that the main counters did not have any protective wall (plastic; like in the new culver's in Goshen) and the counter person was courteous and greeted us when we entered and was wearing a mask. They unfortunately did not have veggie burger that I would have liked. So I simply ordered fries and that was my sad lunch. I wish they had more options for vegetarians. My hubby ordered the butterburger with bacon and made it into a basket. Overall the place was clean. I even used the restroom and thankfully was not smelly. There was one person always cleaning after people left and I was happy to see they were following social distancing guidelines. But ofcourse, you have to take your mask off to eat. Definitely try this place if you haven't had a chance. I'd thinkt heir quality of burgers is better than McDonalds. Food, 3 stars, service was very quick 5 stars, and ambience 4 stars. Thank you!
