After hearing so much about Chick-fil-A, I finally decided to see what the fuss was about—and I left thoroughly disappointed. First off, the sandwich was tiny. For the price and the hype, I expected something more substantial. Instead, what I got was a small chicken filet that was mostly breading, not actual meat. It felt like I was biting into seasoned crunch with barely any chicken in the middle.
The bun didn’t help matters—it was absolutely drenched in grease. I don’t mean a little toasted shine; I mean it was soggy and slippery like it had been dunked in butter. It made the whole thing feel heavy and unappetizing before I was even halfway through.
Service-wise, I know they’re famous for saying “my pleasure” instead of “you’re welcome,” but honestly, it felt robotic. The employees clearly had the phrase memorized, but there was no warmth or sincerity behind it. It just came off as forced and fake.
On top of all that, the wait time was ridiculous. Between the line and the wait for food, I spent way more time there than the meal was worth. In the end, Chick-fil-A didn't live up to its reputation—it’s not worth the trip, the wait, or the grease-stained disappointment they call a chicken sandwich.

Read moreThis happened on Aug 28th, 2025 around 8.15 pm. The cashier (manager on duty maybe?) threw micro-aggressions left and right. First, it started by antagonizing the only brown man in our party, mind you, we are very well versed in English and have been ordering from Chick-Fil-a for a long time now. Yet this manager had the audacity to talk to our party as if we 1. Didn’t know how to understand or order in English and 2. Treated us like threats and playing the victim card. This behavior was only seen from that cashier/manager who was working upfront. I expected no less in a place such as Michigan City, IN. The woman went table to table talking to only white customers to ask about service. She also talked to our children as if they were stupid and tried to demean the eldest’s order. The food was also very greasy compared to other Chick-Fil-a—the fries especially seemed to have been cooked in reused oil. We have been going to Chick-fil-A for a long time now and had great experience in all occasions except this one. I should mention that the server was great and provided a...
Read moreThis message is directly to Nicholas Bianco. YOUR COMMENT IS A LIE TAKE IT DOWN BRO. I'm confused, because your complaint makes no sense. How can someone be a thief if you paid with your Mastercard and then you received a receipt stating your Mastercard paid (Showing all charges) for your transaction? The money literally went from your Mastercard to the balance of your order. And if you paid with cash, why not present the receipt from THAT transaction? I call nonsense. Conveniently this person gave you a receipt for the first transaction, but not for the second one? If you didn't have a receipt, you should have asked for one, it would have cleared up the confusion. And there are cameras EVERYWHERE so I highly doubt anyone stole from you. Pretty messed up calling someone a thief who just started a job a few weeks ago and had no time to prepare because they all had to learn when the doors opened. These poor people are slammed and you forget you're in Michigan City and not Newport Beach or...
