Olive Garden is most definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants! Last month my mom and I took my daughter there for her birthday. When we asked her where she wanted to go she said “Olive Garden” without any hesitation. After we got seated my mom took my daughter to the restroom. The waitress came to the table while they were gone and I was able to tell her that we’re there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday before she came back. I wasn’t expecting anything special to happen, but knew that my daughter would feel special when the waitress told her happy birthday. She asked me to look at the different dessert options and then choose which one I thought my daughter would like the best. I picked one out and then she asked me what my daughter’s name was. After I told her I saw my mom and daughter coming back from the bathroom. We ordered our drinks/ food and it didn’t take her long to come right back with our drinks. Within a few minutes she was right back at our table with our salad and bread sticks. While waiting for our food we heard the staff singing happy birthday to someone at another table. My daughter stood up so she could try to see the person that they were singing too and was excited to see that there was another person there that shared a birthday with her. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out. We were all pleased with how everything tasted and had no complaints. Our waitress came back to check on us to make sure that we were all satisfied with our food. We told her that everything was perfect, but we would eventually need some to go containers. When she came back with them she asked if we needed any assistance putting out leftover food into the containers. I didn’t need any help, but my mom did. A few minutes after she left I saw her walking back to our table with several of her co-workers. When they got to our table she sat down a big piece of cake with a candle on it and they started singing Happy Birthday to my daughter. I looked at my daughter and she had the biggest smile on her face than I’ve seen in a long time. She was completely surprised and felt so special! She was more than happy to share her piece of cake with us which was delicious by the way! Everything was perfect and exceeded my...
Read moreWith jobs open at nearly every resturaunt, good service has been hard to find, but I was pleasantly surprised tonight. We were seated immediately upon walking in and not being regulars to this establishment ,our decisions did not come easy upon reviewing the menus. . Our server Lexi Muffett suggested an appetizer that was out of this world and partnered up with the salad as if they were made to go together. It was refreshing to have a server who was fun to interact with and seemed genuinely authentic. We joked about the Soup or salad, and when the salad came to the table, my significant other said ,"Now that is a Super Salad...where is hers?" She enjoyed our sense of humor, acknowledged it, and responded with a humorous quip. She was on top of filling our drinks in a timely manner without seeming overbearing. It was truly unexpected, enjoyable and refreshing! Her authenticity was one of sincerity and joy for her job despite her long hours. After the salad our entrees arrived freshly sculpted into deliciousness. The shrimp alfredo had about 20 shrimp on it and the sauce was the perfectly creamy, not runny or too thick, just perfect. The new steak parmesan smothered with mozzarella was an interesting switch from the chicken to the beef. With a side of spaghetti, the combination was more than filling as we both took enough leftovers home for another meal. I love enjoying the conversations that take place at restaurants, but really was impressed with the wonderful personality and an impressionable passion for her desire to serve others with a genuine honesty for the integrity she holds for what she does. Finding out she works at a law firm as well adds to her ethical behavior which added to our whole dinner experience. The food was great, but having a server like her, adds that special secret spice that makes the food phenomenal, and the overall experience a pleasure. I actually look forward to going back there and will be sure to request Lexi as my server. Thanks for the wonderful...
Read moreI guess I should have read the reviews before going on my birthday. Worst experience other then our server being very nice understanding and friendly. She kept apologizing over and over again for our experience. We walk in 2 adults and 1 toddler. They wouldn't offer us a booster seat or high chair for him but thankfully we had our sons booster-seat from home that straps to a chair in the car. I bring it in and go to clip it to a chair at the table we are sitting at and am approached by a woman working there that is supposed to be a hostess but refused to seat us so another gal did. Im told its against company policy for me to be setting up his seat and that I cant do that and storms off. Like what? Im just trying to set up my kids seat so we can eat an actual hot meal cause at this point our food was hot in front of us, then another guy who claimed to be the assistant manager comes over and tells us I can't because its a fire hazard? 😳 I truly dont understand and have never delt with this before, we were simply trying to enjoy a meal out for my birthday that we dont usually do.They would not leave us alone insisting that I couldnt set up his seat yet wouldnt offer a booster or high chair. This experience this ruined it for us. We both lost our appetites and didnt even want to eat that point. A third employee comes over claims she is the manager Rinna? Or something starting with an R and says they could move us to a large group booth, my childs seat needs to me clipped to a chair so he cant tip over in it and get hurt, yet this manager claims she doesn't want to see my son get hurt? But I cant set up his seat for him to eat in? Excuse me? It made no sense. I wish I would have taken photos to show you. I will never return to this location, you couldn't pay me too! I'm not usually one to say this but that hostess deserves...
