I placed an order for a pizza and yes it's my fault I forgot about it, I'm human. I got there after they closed and tried signaling that I was there, but since no one was looking, we left thinking I would just call the next day. I call the next day and was told I need to speak to the owner. I call the owner today and was told I can't get a refund or my pizza remade due to compassion of the manager staying there after they closed. Mind you I received one call and one message after I was told they called and messaged me multiple times. I tell him all I really want is a a pizza and he tells me "Well making a pizza is like giving you a full refund, so I can give you a discount" I say, "Okay, I'll take it, but can I have corporates number?". He goes "We are a franchise so there is no corporate" and I tell him, "Well there's someone I can talk to". He says "Well you can call the French Lick location but all you're going to be doing is speaking to them" I tell him that's fine and ask for their phone number. He then tells me he doesn't have it and I ask him to look it up. He then proceeds to tell me to use Google to look it up because he's not going to give it to me. I say "I'm not even being rude sir, I'm just asking for the phone number". He then tells me "You know what, I'm not giving you a discount anymore" and hangs up. What kind of establishment do you run?? I work for a corporate company and a customer has every right to file a complaint if they feel like it. I never was rude, I just asked for a pizza, A PIZZA!
Edit: Everyone makes mistakes and forgets things. It's human nature. I apologize that it was late and I forgot due to taking care of my children's needs. All I wanted was a pizza. It's crazy that I'm not even asking for a refund like some who would, but I get this sort of treatment. Go figure. If you didn't let your anger get to you, you would have heard me say, I'll take the discount. It's amazing how an OWNER can come on here and try to tell people they shouldn't complain to Google. I read your other responses to see how you handled them as well. Google has a review section for a reason, just as any other establishment. This means myself and those who feel they need to express their thoughts (positive or negative) can use it as they please. The proper response would be "Thank you for your feedback. Read moreThis was my first time eating it this restaurant. When I arrived there were two people ahead of me. The young man who place my order was very nice. I ordered 18 wings half buffalo and the other half parmesan and a small chef salad. I waited 40 minutes for my order. I ask to speak with a manager was polite does it always take 40 minutes for an order of chicken wings, and she apologized and she said no that my order was made incorrectly and so they had to remake it. When I got to my destination, I opened the bag that was stapled and it turns out I was given 18 Buffalo wings, which was not what I ordered. Overall, I give this restaurant at 3, and having to wait 40 minutes because the order was incorrect and then to get home and the order is still incorrect is quite disappointing. Spent alot of money to just get a refund. Will be going up to this store tomorrow and speaking with the manager. This is extremely unprofessional. All I wanted was the food I ordered and if I'd of gotten it. I would be leaving a much better review.
