Truly disappointed. The place is beautiful...but that's the only good thing about it. Made a reservation and even confirmed over the phone multiple times and In person hours before the reservation was made for. They had given the table to a different group of people and if it wasn't for the birthday girl we would had gone elsewhere without thinking about it . Multiple people came out (except the manager or the person we had to early that day) and kept telling us the exact same thing with no resolution . I finally asked if there was a table available for the birthday party or not , they showed me where one was and we decided to stay only because it was too late to be changing plans and places , well we thought maybe just maybe they would try to make things right by providing good customer service and apologize for what happened but NO. never did we get the manager to come over to our table and apologize to us for that mistake and the service was just terrible, never got drink refills, she could never remember what anyone ordered, food was late and cold and one person with the easiest thing on the menu waited way longer than the rest of us to get their food. We never got service checking on us to make sure we were ok, The manager never came to us even asfter asking for it . Well I decided to take upon myself and ask where the manager was and a lady told me that a bald guy was one of the owners and that zi could talk to him . I talked to him and expressed our issues and bad overall experience but he clearly did not care and only blamed his employee but never took ownership of their mistakes . He told me that we looked like we were having fun! well guess what ? We are celebrating someone so yeah we are not going to be looking angry all night and ruin someone's special day because of the restaurant' s poor management and lack of customer service. He never offered any solutions and never ask how he could make it right. He had no interest in creating a good customer service experience. FIRST AND...
Read moreI made a reservation for a large party submitted reservation fee. I thought the restaurant would be perfect for the birthday occasion. On Saturday 12/2/23 everything went downhill while attending El Toro Prime location near Keystone at the Crossing. First, we ordered drinks classic flavored margaritas nothing exotic. They came out incorrectly with salt instead of sugar, and the drinks were extremely salty! We politely told the waiter she said the bar messed up, and salt would be ok because the drinks were fine. We told her no we would like new ones so she took the drinks back. When she brings them back they repoured the same drinks in a new cup with salt and sugar on the rim, instead of just sugar. So yes drinks were still nasty due to the amount of salt in the drinks. Ok that was the first red flag. As she began to bring out the food, a couple meals were left off and needed to be reminded these people weren’t served anything. While some of our party didn’t get their meals until 20 minutes later she didn’t refill any drinks. Once she did come to refill drinks and was time for the checks and she dropped the pitchers of drinks to refill on the table. Once the bill came out it was almost $700 with no consideration to the problems we had. The customer service was horrible. I tried to let the manager know about the issues with check and inconsistency with the service and meals. He was extremely rude and kept cutting me off when I was explaining issues with the receipt. In total he took off the 3 drinks they charged for the replacements that’s all nothing else. We never received our birthday song or desert. To add I asked for the patron tower that’s offered with 4 different margaritas, the server said they didn’t have it. As I left I seen the tower offered to another table In all I am extremely saddened I chose this place to celebrate my birthday. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Pictures of meals we didn’t get to eat because they came late, were nasty and drinks that were...
Read moreI wish I could give El Toro at Keystone at the Crossing a zero out of ten because this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely terrible. We waited 15 minutes just for a host to acknowledge us while a line formed behind us. After finally being seated at the bar while waiting for a table, not a single bartender greeted us—we had to track someone down just to get any kind of service. Once we were seated, it took another 10 minutes for a server to even stop by. No drinks, no water, no menus, nothing. When we finally placed our orders, we waited 45 minutes just for chips and queso—and still, no water. When my friend’s entrée arrived, she was only given tortillas and shrimp—no sides, no explanation. When she brought this up, she was denied a refund, and the waiter claimed that if they adjusted the price, it would come out of their own paycheck—which is absolutely ridiculous. Service continued to be awful. It took another 20 minutes for someone to come by for a second round of drinks. When they finally arrived, a shot immediately tipped over, and the server refused to replace it. Meanwhile, another table’s food was left sitting out behind us, and we couldn’t even leave because the server ignored it. When we finally paid, our waiter became visibly angry and started clearing our table aggressively—throwing away our food before we could finish. Completely unacceptable. To top it all off, we waited at the front to speak to a manager, and no one ever came out. My friend and I were so excited to try this place, but this experience was beyond disappointing. Terrible service, long wait times, and a complete lack of professionalism. If you’re thinking about trying El Toro—don’t waste your time or money.
Lastly, The band was so loud you couldn’t even hear yourself thing let alone the people sitting...
