Once we ordered our sectional in early 2020, we accepted the fact that delays were part of the issue, but our problem had more to do with them completely keeping us out of the loop and only providing updates when we requested. They did not represent us at all against the manufacturer to get our sectional when it had been delayed for several months. The sales rep even told us that he knew the manufacturers rep, but accepted no responsbility for representing us and following up with him at all. Houseworks compensated us with only a $200 in-store credit (which is a joke in itself). To top it off, we went back because had to spend that amount. We ordered two table lamps. One was in stock and they had to order. They said it would take 3-4 weeks (mind you that we could get these on houzz.com within a week. This past week, I followed up because it had been 5 WEEKS with no communication. I was ultimately told that there was a miscommunication on their end and they thought the order had been cleared from their system. It's a habitual issue with them and we will not shop with them again. It's unfortunate because their are some good designer pieces, but it is ran very poorly.

We were greeted right away but were not pressured, nevertheless Cathy made herself available and helped us scout the store for a sofa and a side chair. From reading other reviews I knew the store would be fairly high end, but I liked that they didn't hide the prices, be prepared for sticker shock in some cases! Cathy and Dustin were friendly, I mean really nice. I've been to other quality furniture stores where the employees are snooty. Not here. Eventually Cathy led me to a beautiful leather sofa which was in my price range (under 1000), and a well made leather swivel chair to go with it. Also very affordable. We were able to pick up the chair from the warehouse where they were also super helpful but have to wait about 4 weeks for the sofa. Cathy took us all around the store and I must have sat in 50 chairs. All lovely, so it's worth it just to take a look. We had the best time and I'm sure we will be pleased with our purchase.
