First Watch — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I tried this place for lunch today, and absolutely loved it! I was looking for something a little lighter than what I usually order, trying to cut down on my portion size and not overeat at lunch. This place had lots of great looking options all over there menu, which covered all the varieties of most anyone's lunch interests, not just mine in particular. I tried the pick 2 lunch combination. I ordered the half roast beef and havarti sandwich with a half chicken avocado chop salad. The salad was good, but that sandwich was amazing! Absolutely packed with flavor! If I hadn't been trying to cut down a bit, I could have happily wolfed down a whole one. I was quite happy with my meal, and didn't feel overly full later in the afternoon. The price for the food I got was pretty decent, but the food that the others in my group ordered was a little pricey. Above average food is worth a bit more though, so don't let that stop you from trying this place. The only thing that I felt wasn't worth the price was the drinks. $4 for an iced tea or soda at lunch is a bit steep in my book. I'll just stick to...

Worst service I’ve ever received. Went on Father’s Day, was relatively busy but not the worst I’ve seen at other locations. Sat down with my group for 25 minutes before we got drink orders put in . Another 20 and the server finally comes to take our order. Except we never received menus. Upon telling her this she gets a bit of an attitude and walks away. We all assume she’s went to grab some as there’s no QR code so physical menus are the only way to look at the choices. Another 20 minutes go by before we see our server again. Asking if we’re ready to order… with no menus. I had to physically leave my table and find the menus myself while she just watched. We finally order and none of our food comes out together. A solid 20 minutes from the first piece of food until the last person in my party got theres. A few items were missing and had to be brought out separately after the fact. All in all felt completely disrespected like we didn’t matter and were an inconvenience for choosing to sit in her area (we were seated so wasn’t a choice). We will definitely...

Food was good. Our waitress was nice and attentive, the problem lays with the hostess and being seated. My family had plans to meet there at 1030, and I knew with it being Mother’s Day weekend, and us being a party of 10, I wanted to give plenty of time, so I put in a request at 0930, and Got a text at 0950 that my place in line had expired, So I put another request in at 10:00, and my brother arrived at 1010, and told them we were there. We weren’t seated until almost 1130. While we waited The hostess became rude with my sister in law a couple of times when she simply asked how much longer it would be, because she is a diabetic as well is on cancer medication, so she has to time her medication, and was not expecting to wait almost an hour and a half to eat. Once we got seated, the waitress was kind, and attentive and the food was good, but there is no reason to wait that long to be seated, and there certainly is no reason to be so rude, especially when we did everything in our power to ensure they knew a large...
