Worst fast food experience I ever had.
The person working at the front, which I presume was the manager due to the way the kept giving direction to everyone in the kitchen, didn't pay any real attention to us at the counter. We waited patiently for her to turn around and approach us at the counter, but it was literally over 5 minutes before she did so (it was becoming a joke for us to see just how long it would be for her to turn around and acknowledge us). At one point, I'm pretty sure I heard her say "I'm ready for your order." but her back was still to us, so we really weren't sure she was ready.
When she did finally take our order, she had come back with an attitude in telling us that she's been waiting for us to order. She got in our order without any additional drama in the ordering process... we did note that the other customers that were waiting at the counter when we first arrived still hadn't received their orders after all this time, so we decided we'd be better off waiting at a table rather than at the counter.
Almost as soon as we sat down, the lady that had taken our order yelled at us from behind the counter "THAT SECTION IS CLOSED! DON'T YOU SEE THE SIGN!?" As a matter-of-fact, we did. The sign clearly said "wet floor" and there were no other barriers placed in the area such as a rope, chairs, or even a piece of paper that could have said "section closed."
We rolled our eyes and moved to another section free of wet floor signs, and surprisingly were almost immediately served a portion of our order. Unfortunately it was only 1/3rd of our order and it was cold. I presume that it must have been a drive-off or walk out from before we got there...
About 15 minutes later (and some hilarious conversation had with the other patrons that had been waiting as well), the rest of our meal was served. Burgers were overcooked, but at least were hot and tolerable.
While eating, I did see a patron come in that apparently had their drive-thru order messed up. Thankfully, the lady that took our order was away from the counter, so another employee came up to the counter that actually showed compassion, was friendly, and very quickly resolved that person's order issue (it took seconds!).
I'm so sorry that I didn't write down the name of this lady that received and managed our order. If I had, I'd warn you about who it was so that you could just walk out and go to the Waffle House next door for a fast and friendly meal, or keep driving to another Hardee's that doesn't make the entire...
Read moreEverything about this place was bad. The person taking my order at the drive-thru couldn't figure out what I was trying to order. Then got an attitude about it. We finally got the order correct, but then it really got fun. I pulled up to the window and gave her my credit card. She then gives me a keypad to enter my PIN number. I tried explaining to her that it is a business credit card and there is no PIN number for it. She then tries giving me the keypad again a minute later saying I needed to enter the number. She then tells me I need to give her something different to pay with. Since I was on a business trip, I didn't want to use my money, so I said no. She then got extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do. So, I drove away without my food. I drove about 10 minutes further along my drive back home and went to a different Hardee's and got my food. Miraculously, my card worked perfectly fine at that location without...
Read moreI never used to have problems at this Hardee's, but the last two experiences I've had here, they've been rude, gotten my order wrong, or charged wrong.
Last trip, I tried to tell them the price they charged was different from the price on the menu so they should maybe update their menu, and I got "well this is the price they are" in response. I wasn't going to not pay it, I just figured they'd want to know to change it.
This trip I ordered two Frisco Burgers and they gave me two regular burgers. When I came back, the same rude person said "Well we charged you for two regulars". Like, that's fine but not what I ordered, and I pulled out my wallet ready to pay the difference (she didn't ask me to, but skulked off to her office after putting my order in.
I'll probably try again in a few months to see if the culture has changed at all and update...
