Hongkong Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianapolis

It is very expensive. We got 2 dinners, 2 egg rolls, and crab rangoon and spent $35. The crab Rangoon had no crab. The fried rice and egg rolls tasted burnt. The general tsos and pepper steak was decent, but not good enough for me to ever eat here again. Also there is nowhere to park. I posted this review and got a phone call from this restaurant soon after. I guess they got my number from my order. I must have been their most recent customer. They tried to get me to come back to the restaurant so they could give me more food. I asked why I would want more food that I didn't like the first time. I told them if they'd like me to take my review down, I will if they give me a refund since I didn't eat it anyway. They said they would think about it and call me back. They never called back. I guess having a 1 star review is worth them not giving me back $35 for food that my trash can ate. So if you leave a review, wait a couple days after your order or they'll call you and talk to you for 10 minutes trying to argue with you about your review and then do...

Took so long that we left without tasting any food.

We stopped in, based on other reviews that we read. We ordered at the counter and had a seat to dine in. There were multiple to go orders that went out pretty steadily. After 30-40 minutes of waiting (and we were not the only order waiting) we were told that our food was almost ready. The other customer that was told his to go would be ready in 5-8, asked again when his would be ready, 20 minutes later, and wasn't even told if his food was even being cooked yet. The kid at the front counter spent more time on his phone (including full over the head headphones) and clearly was not happy to be there. He would yell at and argue with the kitchen workers (and his mom) in front of all customers. We finally got our money back after waiting almost an hour since ordering. I ordered online and it finally finished so I came to pick it up while my fiance waited in car (he dropped me off) and when I said pickup for "said name" this young guy immediately asked for the phone in which I reply it's in the car ,but we are parked right over there . Then he seemed hesitant and then I replied annoyingly "we just got a bing message stating it's done ... -_-; *PLUS ours was the only order up there on the table ????? and he asked for the last name , which I gave him .he finally gave it to me .... Now before I go any further ,I'm black and we are an interracial couple . I got the feeling that he thought I was trying to steal someone's food .
