I give The Indians a 5 because I have attended games there since the 70's. They are generally well run and give you what you pay for. My Dad & I loved going to the games; unfortunately he passed away and half the fun was missing. It's been tough going to the games without him. I miss him dearly. The Indians did not have a season last year and they have been sitting on $1,600 of mine since December of 1999. I have been waiting for a schedule and a ticket book to be released for this year. I has not been forthcoming. I heard on the news this morning that the opening game was tonight Tuesday May11th. I was contacted by the ticket manager Max on whether I would attend tonight opener. I've only missed 3 or 4 in the last 40 years. I said, I was planning to attend and he said my seats would be waiting, they had to plan for covid spacing or whatnot. I talked to him later and my seat, that I paid for two years ago, had been sold to someone else. The Indians never contacted by phone or mail; however I did see that tickets had gone on sale a week or two ago an an e-mail. I just assumed they would honor my purchase. They did not. I am so distraught that the seats my parents donated $6,000 for, so the stadium could be built, were now occupied by someone else and will be for a month. This is unforgivable and a permanent scar on my memories of spending summers at the Indian's games. Dang you Indians, your fan IN TRUST, -...
Read moreGotta love the Indianas. The stadium is easily accessible with many different entrances. The staff on hand are always friendly and bring service with a smile. I have never had a bad experience when I go. I always find that the campus is clean and if there happens to be an accident then they will get the mess cleaned up as soon as possible. The other great part about the stadium is that they try and use it for other activitie. I have seen them use it as a driving range for golf. Or, going to a game around the 4th of July will award you with an impressive fireworks show. During the 2020 March Madness tournament when every team was in Indianapolis, they used the field for the playere to get some outdoor activity in their life. It was cool to go stand at the fence and see my favorite players have fun. If you are looking for something to do, always see if something is happening in the Indianapolis Indianas stadium, you won't be dissatisfied! P.S., parking is a breeze. The surrounding area offers multiple different locations to park and are within a short walking distance. If you want to stay the night then there are plenty of...
Read more1st time to Victory Field ✌. Great experoemce to have my two grandchildren along for their first big ball game. The sensory overload 😍 was a bit much for them - but it made a great memory. I bought a "bat of beer" for my son in law and a hollowed out bat as a wine glass gor myself. Over 9,000 people were in attendance the evening was cool and refreshing the seat were wondetful with a good view of the field. I should have gone years ago. Maybe next time a seat beyond the outfield in the lawn maybe...
