I’ve had not 1 but 3 horrible experiences with this jack in the box . I keep coming bc I love their food as a franchise but this one is horrible ! Every time I have gone , they get my damn order wrong every single time ! One particular instance , I ordered my food and the Entire order was wrong, I did not notice until I got all the way back to my work office, so I went back up there and ask for a refund. The manager working, charge my card again, instead of refunding me my money. So then I had to go up there the following morning again, and speak to the same exact manager, and I tried to keep my composure because I know it might’ve been an accident, but the way I was treated , entire order was wrong, I did not notice until I got all the way back to my work office, so I went back up there and ask for a refund. The manager working, charge my card again, instead of refunding me my money. So then I had to go up there the following morning again, and speak to the same exact manager, and I tried to keep my composure because I know it might’ve been an accident, but the way I was treated I felt like it was horrible customer service . I’ve been doing customer service for 14 years . My most recent aggravation was TODAY , when I ordered my lunch , they once again added stuff on my sandwich that was NOT repeated to me when I ordered . They have messed up my sandwiches 3 different times . It sucks that I would have to put a negative review bc I always give good reviews . Today though , was the last time I would accept that my order was once...
Read moreOn a recent Sunday afternoon we were passing through Indianapolis looking for a place to have lunch that we don't have at home (Louisville) and I said to the wife, I said "Hey, can you see if there's a Jack in the Box we can have lunch at in Indi"?, to which she replied "That sounds good, let me check!".
This location is right off of the expressway and it's very easy to find. It was about 1:30pm, so we fortunately missed the lunch rush.
Before we even walked in I knew what I wanted, and that was those outstanding Jack in the Box tacos. There was a current promotion for 2 Monster Tacos for $3. Was I dreaming? Sign me up!
The restaurant was clean and well-stocked when we arrived, aside from the drink station with, let's face it, is trashed in just about any fast food restaurant. The floors were clean, trash wasn't overflowing, and all the tables were clean. The dining room counter tops could use some attention/repair. The are cracks next to the drink machine that look like they want to be fixed.
My wife's whatever-it-was burger was good (by her account). The Monster Tacos were very much worth taking a short detour off of I-65.
The staff we encountered (cashier, primarily) was very nice and helpful. For the most part the staff was busy taking care of things, but during the 45 or so minutes of our stay, no one came out to take care of the dining room.
Now that we know there's a Jack in the Box easily accessible during our trips to Ft Wayne and...
Read moreI'm from Central Illinois and have never had the chance to try Jack in the Box. When I found out that there was one near our hotel, I got excited. I stayed up late the night before checking out Reddit for recommendations on the best menu item and couldn't wait to try a Sourdough Jack and Halfsies fries. On Sunday afternoon, 3/24, we pulled up to the drive-through. When we were ready to order, I let the guy know and he told me to hold on for a minute. We sat there for close to 10 minutes before I said, "Hello?" No one responded, so I waited another minute or two before saying it again. The man working drive-through then rudely said, "Yes, I HEARD YOU, ma'am. We are very busy right now. Please, HOLD ON." He wasn't friendly at all and it was clear he didn't actually care. We ended up pulling out of the drive-through and leaving without getting to order. I was super bummed. It just blows my mind that a fast food restaurant isn't fast. Like.. these guys are asking for $15 per hour and they can't even handle their slowest hours... What a joke. **Update: A guy working for Jack In The Box called me from a Cali number and apologized, although there was not an ounce of empathy in his voice. He was very unconvincing. It was very awkward; he told me if I'm ever in the Indianapolis area again, to give him a call so I could try Jack In The Box... So what I'm getting overall is that Jack In The Box in general sucks. Perhaps I...
