Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Placed an online order today 1/29/2022 at 7:23 pm for the first time in the 6years I have lived here in Indianapolis. Said the order would be ready in 30 mins 7:53pm. I walked into the store at 7:50pm to see the man with orange hair at the register taking an order. From there he walked back to the prep area and brushed cheese crumbs off the counter into a container and trashed it . Another worker came up and asked if I had a pickup order I told him yes and gave him my name . From there he called to the orange hair guy and he replied “I’m making it now” . I then seen the orange hair man prepping my ONE slice of pizza with no gloves on and touching everything from the meat , spinach , and cheese with his bare hands . How unsanitary and no one had on masks. I was baffled that my order of ONE slice wasn’t ready and even more in shock to see the worker handling peoples food like that. I asked for a refund and the orange hair guy had to come to the register and issue me a refund .. he just wiped his hands on his shirt and came to the register tapping on the screen . He then said okay it’ll take about 3 days for your refund to post to your account . I asked for a receipt and was told they were out of paper . Yeahhh I’ll just keep driving by this place. My experience was super-duper! from ordering online, and having my card charged - to driving to the store and finding a note - hastily scrawled in pencil - that says their oven isn't working. The whole process was seamless!

Normally I have to wait a few days after ordering something online to find out that I wont be getting it, but this really sped up the process of my calling Discover to cancel payment for lack of services. I think the best part was when I called the store after finding the door locked. They informed me that they definitely called me to tell me they cancelled my order and then insisted I was lying when I stated I am on my phone and received no such call. Supposedly my card was refunded already too (neither assertion was factual). Keep it classy jetts,!

Piping hot carry out Detroit style pizza has an addictive crunch though it's thick crust, but not quite deep dish. I ordered the Monday night special $11.99 large one topping. It's truly a superb pizza and enough pizza to last 3 days. It's 8 pieces and I could only eat two of them. I know it's going to heat up great in the iron skillet and be good as new. When placing an order a real person answers the phone to take your order. You aren't forced to interact with AI. Honestly Artificial Intelligence and food should never mix and is a disgusting way to start a meal. I also ordered a salad which was pleasantly made up of crisp leafy greens (not iceberg). The homemade ranch is up there with the best ranch you'll ever eat with plenty leftover for the week. This spot deserves more stars than available on the ap.
