Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

According to Google maps I live 8 minutes from this Jimmy John's location. One would think given their "freaky fast delivery" moto, a 30 minutes delivery time would be acceptable. Silly, silly me. Twice now it has taken OVER AN HOUR TO RECEIVE my order. The first time was no big deal - it sucked but didn't bother me (cannot say the same for my boyfriend). However, the second time was ridiculous! First off, I very rarely order delivery from anywhere given how close I live to these establishment. I order this particular time because I was sick (didn't feel like cooking or leaving my bed). After 50 minutes, I called checking on my order. I was told my order was on the road but they couldn't tell me when it would arrive. I inquired politely why it was taking so long ("freaky fast delivery"....only 8 minutes away) and I was told that if I didn't like the delivery time I could "come get the food yourself". I could understand the response if I was being rude but honestly I was very polite, simply asking about my order. Approximately 15 minutes later I called back to cancel my order (ate a PBJ), but nobody answered the phone (2:50 pm). Food arrived a little over 90 minutes after I receive my confirmation email. I order weekly from Jimmy John’s but as of late the quality of their food and their customer service has significantly gone downhill. I have two experiences in particular that I want to share. The first being that I ordered an Italian Night Club and upon taking the first bite my mouth was instantly on fire. I could not understand why. So, I took apart my wrap and saw that they had covered my sandwich in green and red jalapeños. For starters, that sandwich does NOT come with jalapeños. Secondly, I did NOT order them on my sandwich because I am allergic to them. That was very neglectful on their part and after I called to inquire about the fiasco, I was dismissed, a refund was not offered, and the manager was very rude. The second experience happened a week later when I ordered Jimmy John’s again. This time it took them 2 hours, yes you read that correctly, 2 hours to deliver my food and my office is not even 10 minutes away. By the time my order got to me, my coke was warm and my sandwich that is a cold sandwich was warm. Very disheartening. I wish I could give them 0 stars. This is honestly the worst Jimmy Johns experience I have ever had. Over the past 6 months I have ordered from them around 7 or 8 times. Twice my order was not delivered. 2 weeks ago I went in to pick up and all of the employees were complaining about their manager and calling her obscenities, and then made my order wrong, handed me my sandwich, and went on complaining. Last week they called me almost 40 minutes after my order and told me they didn't accept cash after 4 pm. Today my boyfriend ordered 3 sandwiches, a pickle, and 3 bags of chips. We received 3 sandwiches that were all wrong, 2 bags of chips, and no pickle. We had to call twice and the manager was extremely rude. Most of this staff should be fired.
