Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

My son loves JJ and we usually order from this location and have no problems. However after today we will never order from here again. My sons birthday is tomorrow but today JJ had their $1 subs. I call in and am told I cant do the $1 sub and delivary. I say, thats ok I live down the road, Ill pick it up ( my car is not available so ill have to walk to which i let the man know.) Then Im told i cant do it over the phone at all, and again i say okay ill just walk there. So i do exactly that and wait in line for 30 mins or so because theres already 30-50 ppl ahead of me. When its my time to order I order the #1 first for my daughter and then 2 #2s and the girl stops me and says the ppl im ordering for have to be with me. So, i except defeat and ask her to cancel the #1 and order a #2 for my son since its his money and his birthday. She says okay, takes my money and hands me my change. Next thing i know they shout the #1 order that i would have ordered had i been able to...i ignore it because that was not what i ordered. So they start screaming it, no one comes forward, and i look at the girl and ask her if she canceled the #1 like i asked and ordered a #2 to which she says yes. So i say why are they shouting a #1?( i ordered it with no tomato and no mayo) She shrugs it off and starts taking orders again and im left with a sandwhich that i didnt order. The guy hands it to me, i tell him whats wrong and he says "oh". So, i walk back home and tell my kids and we call in an order the right sandwhichs and pay full price. The guy says you know its $1 sub day to which i respond, yes and i was in there and you gave me the wrong sandwhich, so no thanks. I dont care about the $1 sub, it was the customer service. I can except the blame for not reading the fine print, but the rudeness and utter lack of customer service i...

Terrible service! Wished I could have given no stars.. I completed an order through the app and it took over 45 MINUTES to have my order delivered to me and my work is only 5 minutes away! I called the store asking where my order was and the girl that answered verified my order and told me it was out for delivery. I informed her that its been 30 minutes. She told me that the owner was the one delivering and he had more important business to attend to before he delivered. I asked for a time she couldn't give me one. I waited til food was delivered and asked the guy if he was the owner he told me No. I asked him to pass along a message. I order frequently from JJ but if this the service I get I wont order from their location anymore.. Its one thing to pay $15 for sub and another to pay $4 for a delivery fee and WAIT almost an hour for sub and the sub NOT BE RIGHT!!! And the delivery guy whether he is the owner or not with his body language seemed like he couldn't care less!!! I ordered a beach club -it's the only thing I order and it comes with avocado. And my sub had like no avocado on the sandwich. Very disappointing! Along with my co- workers sub was disappointing as well his sandwich was watered down. The way I feel right now I wont be ordering from this location 1155 E Stop 11...

Edited 8/06/2023 I was just in there. Children work this store, dont waste your time. Walked in, no customers OR employees. Stood around for about 60 seconds and still no one...guess i should have stolen a bunch of chips or made my own sandwich. I finally said HEELLLLLOOOO!? 3 little high school boys walked out and never said anything, one mumbled something. I finally said "you slack m'Fers need to get your sheets together! And walked out. I have tried this JJ's a couple times recently with not so great results....I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS JIMMY JOHNS EVER AGAIN!!! Dont ask for the "Managers" name, she/they wont give it to you!! This location deserves Negative stars. Idiot kids are lazy AF here!

Edited 7/02/2023 - You never know what kind of service you will get here. Im lowering to one star because of the slack kids they hire at this location. These kids need to stay in school. Slack doesnt even begin to describe who they hire. This location isnt worth your money, and I wont be back. This location will skimp you and jip on you. Bunch of kids who dont care, that includes management. This location sucks!!
