90% of the time my order is made incorrectly. The drive-through time is extremely long regardless of whether you’ve ordered ahead or not. There’s always a new face in the drive-through window. And if you go inside, it’s just pure chaos half the time nobody’s at the counter. They’re all in the back chitchatting or sitting out on the floor with friends and family at the tables completely ignoring the fact that there are customers standing in line. I can’t even mention a better time to go because I’ve been in the morning. I’ve been in the afternoon and I’ve been during dinner time and there’s honestly not one time better than the other. It’s just all over the place. Some days are good and some days are absolutely horrific. The worst part about all of it is when you don’t check the bag before you leave and make it all the way home only for the order to not be made right and various items missing and then when you try and call no one ever answers the phone so I have to drive all the way back up there Only for them to question me as if I’m trying to steal food from them instead of them acknowledging that they made the mistake and being grateful that I’m not completely losing my mind on them because after working a full shift myself, I stopped to get my children something quick to eat make it home to relax and then have to get back out into my car and drive all the way back up to the restaurant to fix their mistake and be called a thief with them questioning whether I’m lying or not and double checking my receipt. Read moreThis McDonalds seems like they never have any lines in the drive thru. Even during busy times I have never had to wait in a line and this McD's is in the busiest part of Greenwood. I would expect to have a line or two out the WAZZOO. But have never had to wait very long at all.
THE ONLY issue I have with McDonalds, (this is not a problem with only this location, I have had the issue with many) Here is the problem, when I order a smoothie which can cost $5 and over sometimes many times the person making the smoothie will literally hand me a smoothie that's three inches down from the lid. I'm sorry, I know there should be a space between the lid and the drink, maybe a quarter of an inch at most in my opinion. However 3 inches where the cup is the largest. This could be like missing half of the smoothie. And honestly how do you even bring that up to someone working the drive thru line at McDonalds.
They probably barely cared about your food for the 3 seconds they had in their hands. They are really not interested in your smoothie that's a little under filled. Most of the time I just drive off irritated promising to never buy a McDonalds smoothie again. But I have made that promise hundreds of times and here I sit with one in my mitts.

After the 3rd try to get my burger done correctly I was able to eat with my wife and 10mo. old at 12:03 1st wait was waiting for the dude with thicker black glasses to turn around and acknowledge me so that I can ask him for my sons juice box that was supposed to come with his meal. Then when I sat down my wife goes you may want to check your burger cause mine is very pink. So I bit into it and it was indeed pink. I go back to waiting in line then once line was down I had to wait for him to acknowledge me again. Once he did I explained what was up with the burgers. He took them from me ,then asked to have new ones made. Quite a bit later a lady came from the back and rang up the burgers at no charge. I assume to get them in the system. After another wait. I get my burgers. I open the bag which was confusing to me cause they knew I was eating there. Only to check how they did. Well wife's was fine. But even though the sticker on the box clearly stated light catsup what I got was , major catsup and zero onions. He asks me if I'd like another one made. Well yes I would. So I wait again. This time it was done right. Now I get to sit down and with my family to enjoy my cold frys and now watered down coke. The guy at the counter had zero personality and zero sympathy for my troubles.
