I went through the drive thru to get a couple sandwiches and 2 sweet teas. They gave me my drinks and sent me to the reserved window to further prepare me food. I parked at the window and checked my drinks which were wrong. When the girl brought my food out I told her they were wrong. She took them and walked back in. I sit and wait assuming they would bring me the correct drinks back out. I wait for almost ten minutes before I decide perhaps I should go and check on the progress. I park and get my son out of the car ( which is what I wanted to avoid from the get go). I go in and the lady who was supposed to be fixing my drink order was standing at the counter texting. A different lady greeted me I told her the situation and how I've been waiting for a while for my correct drinks. She apologizes profusely and goes to get my correct drinks. The other texting girl goes around the corner and hides. The manager walks over and appologizes. He then stops the lady from filling my cups as a wrangle my three year old. He then says she can do it herself at the self serve station and continues on with 80% of our business is done through the drive thrus, let her get it herself. I say well I came through the drive thru bc I didn't want to have to get the 3 yr old out of the car, my child is in his terrible 3 stage and I'd rather avoid public displays. He said the self serve station is over there and hands me 2 empty cups. The lady looked dumb founded and I'm still looking at the mgr like seriously. Mind you I'm keeping my cool the whole time. When I go around the corner to fill my drinks they were laughing around the corner about it. If that's how the manager wants to treat their customers and train his associates to treat their customers, that's fine, I will take my...
Read moreActually negative numbers....being a restaurant manager, i havent heard any news about the restrictions on gloves and masks being lifted. So i called another mcd restaurant to speak with a manager about the glove/ mask issue. They assured me that employees at that restaurant were supposed to wear both. The young girl at the pay window had her mask under her chin and no gloves. How many germy peoples germs did i have on my card when she handed it to me. The guy at the pickup widow and most others i saw in that area had no gloves. So my bag is unsanitary and obviously i must now again handle germy people residue. Not until i saw him grab my drink lid by the lid and my straw did i question the process. I think i spoke to a manager but i dont know. I asked why nobody was wearing gloves? The reply was paraphrasing...we dont have to wear gloves if we dont touch food. I dont remember that part of the 2 1/2 hr video i watched and took the 20 minute test. Sorry wrong!!! So i got a refund. So as i was getting my refund, i for some reason tried to give my drink back and was strongly told we cant take that back. But they sure as heck handed me an infected cup. Ill be calling the restaurant tomorrow and talk with the...
Read moreI've had some bad experiences at the drive thru at this place, but this experience ruined this location for me permanently.
We get to the drive thru, the line isn't too bad, we wait a little while and get to the speaker. Almost immediately we get asked our order. So we place it.
My fiancee places her side of the order, and despite some issues with the coffee machine, she manages to complete hers. Then I go to place mine, and almost immediately I get asked to wait, and I hear her taking another's order in the other line, followed by another person. Then she comes back on my speaker and confirms if our order is done. We say yes, but hear no confirmation. Then the lady took the order of 2 more cars, all while we're asking if we can pull up. We hear nothing, she's taking the order of the other line, we keep yelling "HELLO?!" and "CAN WE PULL UP?!". All with no answer. We gave up and pulled away and instead had a delicious breakfast at White Castle (who don't actually cut off their customers trying to order some food).
I've given this place chance after chance but today sealed the deal. I will never come back here, you'll have to drag me over there kicking and screaming before I ever went into that...
