I have heard some good things about Papa Ray's so we thought we would give it a try and order from Uber Eats Last night. Our order was delivered by Uber in about 35min. We were off a a good start! Then, we opened the box and discovered that we had an incorrect order. We called the store at 7:05. and a very hasty woman put me on hold three times and then came back on the line and took my address and phone number and told me they would resend a correct order to us using their drivers and I could expect my order in about 25min. At 9:00 PM, we had not received our order so I called back and spoke to the same woman. After putting me on hold several times, a driver got on the line and told me that he had delivered it. He had left it inside the door on a table. I told him, I was sorry, but have been home the entire evening and that I could assure him that he did not come into my home and leave a pizza on my table. (Wow) He then asked me if I lived at the halfway house because the did in fact deliver it. I laughed and told him, no I did not live in a halfway house. At this point the hasty woman got back on the phone and yelled at me for giving her the wrong address and was insinuating that it was my fault for giving her the wrong address. I tried to explain to her that I am quite sure of my address, but she insisted it was my fault. Regardless, she told me she would remake the pizza again and have it to me in 25min. At 10:00pm, I still had not received my order so I called back again and politely asked to speak to a manager. The hasty woman said he was outside. I asked if I could hold for him and she told me no. So I attempted to ask her where my pizza was that she promised would be there in 25min. I again was put on hold and when she returned she said she was too busy to have my order delivered to me. I could not believe what she was saying. I asked her why she told me it was going to be delivered in 25min then. She at that point hung up on me and would not answer my phone calls. I contacted Uber and they refunded my money, but can I just say I cannot believe that after three hours of being told my order was on its way, she just make the decision to not worry about it. I called the store this morning and asked to speak to the manager and was told there was no manager available. I left a message to have someone return my call. We will see if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI order the works casond cheesy garlic bread on January 7 @ 10:03 pm was told via text that it was on the way and two hours later it was delivered to a corner table at the hospital not where it was supposed to be. The casone dough was not cooked on the I side. The cheesy garlic bread has no sauce on it and both were very cold. The outside of the box was covered in motor oil and smelled horrible. Called store to be told that the first delivery the driver broke down and that it had to be remade. It was as cold as it was outside. They acted like it was no big deal there was motor oil on the box. But said I would get a refund. When I called to complain today the woman on the phone just wanted to argue and wouldn't let me tell her what happened. She just said I would have to go through GrubHub to get a refund and that no one there told her they would refund my money when they did. I have text message of where the food was put, at a desk in the back corner of the entrance to the hospital where I work. So at midnight I had paid for food that wasn't able to be eaten and this company acted like it wasn't a big deal. Please be careful what you order from there. They obviously don't care what they .make or do t make for their customers. I could have died from injesting motor oil. Never once did the store say they were sorry when I called the next and acted rude, unprofessional and like I was trying to not pay for my food. Please watch what you purchased and what the box is soaked in. This place needs to think about their customers and not treat them horrible when you called to find out why my order was covered in motor oil. So if you want two hour late pizza that is very cold and the box covered in oil I would scroll past this place and order from anyone else. I do have pictures of all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn July 5th, we ordered dinner from this pizza restaurant for 3 adults and 4 kids. The total came out to $74 including 3 pizzas, boneless chicken wings and tiramisu dessert. We placed the order by phone and paid by credit card. Almost 20 minutes after we placed the order, we got a call back from the restaurant stating they would not be able to fulfil our order because they were out of tiramisu and chicken wings. We told them to forget it and we canceled the order in full with a full refund to the credit card.
When I got home from my trip, I called the credit card company on Friday July 7 and asked about this transaction. We were told to contact the restaurant directly and try to resolve the charge. I called the restaurant that weekend and explained what happened. I was told by a woman on the phone to call back on Monday and talk to the owner. On Monday I was told to call the owner Atif directly. So I called him on Monday evening and told him about my fraudulent charge for an order we had canceled. He said heād look into it and call me back by Thursday. I called him back in thursday afternoon for an update. He did not answer. I called the restaurant and the same woman told me she didnāt know why he didnāt answer and hung up on me. I was getting frustrated with being given the run around but I was not about to accept being on the hook for a clearly FRAUDULENT charge for goods that we didnāt receive and an order that we canceled. I called Atif back 3 more times over the course of Thursday evening and also sent him a text. This was as of July 13.
