I parked my car in the lot because this time I wanted FRESH food. Every single time I go to this location, the food is never fresh. I waited 10-15 mins for âfreshâ food. While I was waiting, a lady brought her chicken back up and said this is still raw. I almost got sick when I saw it. I hoped this wouldnât happen to my food. Only one of my chicken sandwiches were cooked fresh. There was so much food in the âhot lampâ area. The amount of food they have just waiting like the sides was pure disgusting. Is it so hard to make peoples food when they order it? Instead, they have it already prepared. The sandwiches were SOAKED in grease and an extremely LARGE amount of mayonnaise was soaked into the bun and the chicken. There was so much mayo on the sandwich that it was falling off the sandwich and got all over me. The biscuits were COLD and rock hard. I decided to order 3 breasts for $5 hoping the chicken would be better. They were soaked in grease. It was pure disgusting. I woke up at 3 am and spent over an hour in the bathroom. It was so painful. I will never ever in my life go back to this location. I thought I had food poisoning, it was so bad. It was most likely all the disgusting grease that they do not soak up when itâs done. I ordered around around 2:27 pm to 2:30 pm yesterday. I spent about $20 the first time about $10 the second time. The sweet tea that I yearned for was not even that sweet. I am from New Orleans. Thereâs a Popeyes everywhere you look. I have never had such a bad experience as I had here. It was pure horror. I was so mad on the way home thinking of everywhere else that I couldâve gotten my food. I lost out on $30 and suffered from a severe stomach ache with horrible trips to the bathroom. My stomach is still hurting even thinking about this nasty place and how disgusting they are. The girl at the front desk with the red hair was nice and she told them I wanted my food fresh but it was still not fresh. One of the worst...
Read more"Oh, you gon' pull up and check your order!" I ordered on the app for drive-thru, but then when I got to the window was told by the young lady to either drive around again in 5 minutes or come inside. This has never happened to me before but I pulled around and went inside anyway. There's a line of about 3 people inside with no employees in sight taking or expediting counter orders. So I get back in the car and in the drive thru again. This time there are 4 cars in front of me. Finally get to the speaker and the young lady tells me to look at the menu and she'll be right with me. Cool. She takes the order at the other speaker and they drive up. Silence. Then she 'greets' me again and tells me to look at the menu and she'll be right with me. At this point I try to ask if I can just pull up to the window. It's been well over 10 minutes. She cuts me off to basically tell me to wait until SHE'S ready for ME. Again, cool. Still not even mad at this point, just frustrated. She finally tells me to pull up and my order is ready. I get to the window and it's clear that she is rushing me out the line so I tell her that I will check my order before I leave. This woman then has the gall to not ask, but tell me "Oh you gon' pull up and check your order!" Now I'm officially mad. I tell her no. It's bad enough YOU made me pull around twice already. I need to check my order because it is no secret that Popeyes will mess up your food more often than not. She closed the window walked off to get a manager I suppose. I check my bag and guess what? Order wrong. Unnecessary attitude all around. If I had pulled up like she wanted, I would have had to made a 3rd lap to the window. If you are going to tell people to pull up to check their bag, and in a rude way at that, you best be confident that the order is right....
Read moreFirst off, the food here is actually pretty alright because it's Popeyes and for the most part Popeyes puts out good product. However, this location is an absolute disaster of a restaurant. Here are my observations from roughly half a dozen visits.
It doesn't seem to matter when you're here; this location is always on hold for at least one popular food item. More often than not they'll be behind specifically on spicy chicken orders. Instead of making sure the ordered food is provided, the staff has a tendency to just shove random food into your order as reparation. This happens almost every time I am here.
The kitchen is almost always in complete chaos. There could be a full drive thru line or just two people inside ordering food and there will be people yelling at each other. Food comes out slow. Food comes out inconsistent. The general attitude of the staff here seems to be disdain that they have to do any work at all. The front of house staff are also consistently rude, inappropriate, or standoffish.
This location also closes down parts of the restaurant really early. If you come in 1-2 hours before close you probably won't get tea. The bathrooms are wide open and full of cleaning supplies an hour before close. Tonight, all the trash cans except for one were shut down 45 minutes before close with a handful of people still in the dining room.
It's pretty likely that anyone who works at this location will look at these comments and just not care. The manager on duty, or at least someone who acts like they are, seems to spend most of their time bad mouthing staff and complaining that their restaurant has customers. Again, the product here is fine, but it probably wouldn't be if it didn't come in...
