That Place Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Our server didn't bring our change back for us to decide her tip. We would have tipped her the rest but she didn't give us a choice. She also didn't check to see if we wanted another drink. So our next drink we got from bar. We had our coats on our chairs while we were on the dance floor. Walking back to table we watched her clear our drinks away. She lied to us saying she didn't do it. Watch out for server about 5 foot 2 thick built dyed blondish hair. Tonight she had a white sports bra on and blue tied dyed yoga. Maybe next time she needs to wear that outfit to the gym.

March 2nd Blue River Band. The band just played last song we are on the dance floor. Coats on chairs by our table which is behind door and bouncers. Come back are table is moved our drinks are gone. That Place has gone down hill. Leave drinks alone when coats are at table and band is still playing!!!! In fact if band is still playing and drinks are on the table LEAVE THE DRINKS ALONE!!! Where are you getting your servers they suck!!!!!!!!!!! Gave them another chance won't be back. Went there for years but now they have very bad staff and the dance floor is very small and has servers bringing food out though dance floor not to mention great bands do not sound as good stuck in the corner. We have been coming to That Place for months to play trivia on Tuesdays and would NEVER come to this place except for supporting Indy's Live Trivia. We are constantly treated with disrespect by the owner. The service is absolutely terrible, yet we still order lots of food every time and tip way beyond what we think is fair. Because we do not always care to drink alcohol while we are here (because of allergies and personal reasons), we do usually order water. In recent weeks, we have been singled out as a group and made to order and pay for bottled water, yet we see multiple groups that are allowed to order tap water. We are also typically one of the first groups here for trivia, but we have come to be the last one to always have our orders taken and food served. We have been complained about by the owner for using the gift certificates that we won by playing trivia. If they wanted to institute a small buy-in to play trivia, we would have gladly paid a small fee. Furthermore, we were confronted by the general manager as to why we were being made to pay for water and was told it was because we were only using gift certificates, even though we had only won gift certificates about 3 times in 7 months.
